00:25President Zelensky, it's good to see you again.
00:29This is the 7th visit and we kindly ask you to come to Washington.
00:33I want to explain that despite the brutal aggression of Putin and the war against Ukraine,
00:41our support for Ukraine is unyielding.
00:45I stood shoulder to shoulder with Ukraine and I will continue to stand shoulder to shoulder with Ukraine
00:52and ensure that Ukraine wins this war.
00:56And in order to be safe and prosperous, the United States must continue to play our role of global leadership.
01:09We stand up for our allies and partners, we strengthen our democratic values
01:16and we support the international order, rules and standards.
01:21Each of these principles is a threat to Ukraine.
01:25And that is why the struggle of the Ukrainian people is the struggle of the Americans.
01:31Ukrainians bravely defend their homes and their homeland,
01:37as well as the will and democracy against the brutal dictator.
01:42And the Americans are well aware of the significance of the concept of will,
01:47independence and the rule of law.
01:50These ideals are essential for us.
01:54And in these important moments in our history, we rise up against the aggressors like Putin,
02:03as we must do today.
02:06And standing with our friends and defending our ideals against tyranny,
02:13which has made America the most powerful and prosperous country in the world.
02:20Putin's aggression is not only an attack on Ukrainians,
02:24it is also an attack on fundamental principles such as sovereignty and territorial integrity.
02:32And the international norms are not an abstract idea.
02:39They support order and stability.
02:42They ensure the security of America and the prosperity of America.
02:47And wherever they are not threatened, they are threatened everywhere.
02:53History teaches us that if we allow aggressors like Putin to seize territories without punishment,
03:04they continue to do so.
03:07And Putin can already target Poland, the Baltic states and other NATO allies.
03:14And if Putin is allowed to do this, he will continue to do so.
03:23And history reminds us that the United States cannot and does not have to isolate itself from the rest of the world.
03:34Isolation is not a confinement in itself.
03:38So, the United States supports Ukraine not out of good intentions,
03:44but because it is in our strategic interests.
03:48We will continue to provide security assistance to Ukraine, which it needs on the battlefield,
03:56as demonstrated by President Biden's announcement today.
04:04I was very lucky to work with President Biden and our 50 allies in the coalition to help Ukraine protect itself.
04:18Thanks to this coalition, we also have the opportunity to fight the spirit of the Ukrainian people.
04:25And under your brave leadership, Kyiv remains free and strong.
04:35And President Zelensky, today we know that this war can be...
