00:13According to the Delta State Police Command Public Relations Officer, Bright Edafe, the
00:19arrest and discovery of the hideout came through after the organizers of the criminal training
00:24school failed to allow one of the students to leave.

00:52The army raided the estates in Efurun and arrested 123 boys with some of them within
00:58under age bracket of 17 in a house learning internet fraud in the guise of learning bitcoin
01:03or cryptocurrency trading.
01:06The Delta State Police Command narrated how the teenagers from different states of the
01:10federation were lured into learning internet fraud by a syndicate under the guise of teaching
01:15them crypto and forex trading.
01:18Bright Edafe in a video he posted online made the disclosure while parading 123 suspected
01:25internet fraudsters on Wednesday.
01:28He said the arrested boys, most of whom are within the age range of 17 to 20, were lured
01:35into cybercrime by a syndicate who alternatively described the school as HK, Hustler's Kingdom.
01:42While parading the suspects at Ekpon Police Station in Uvin local government area of Delta
01:47State, SP Edafe said the suspects were engaged in the business of internet fraud.
01:53They were all placed in a particular house in one estate in Efurun, Warrior Road where
01:58where they do what they call HK.
02:01The said HK means Hustler's Kingdom.
02:04The police spokesman explained that the syndicate's mode of operation was engaging their agents
02:09who go on social media to flaunt wealth that are most often not even theirs to convince
02:14unsuspecting young boys between the ages of 17 and 20 that they want to teach them
02:19forex and crypto business.
02:22They lure them all the way from Kaduna, Akwa Ibo, Ibadan to that particular estate and
02:28beat the hell out of them.
02:30That is their own welcoming to them and they feed them only when they feel like feeding
02:35them.
02:36In fact, one of them said once they enter the bathroom to bath, before they come out,
02:42they will seize their clothes.

02:51He further explained that the police got the information through one of the suspects who
02:56came all the way from Kaduna State but told the syndicate that he could not do the hustling

03:10who in turn reported to a relative who is a military personnel.
03:15The military men came in their large number and raided the estate and arrested over 123
03:21suspected internet fraudsters.
03:23Adding, one Bolahan who was deceived from Ibadan in Oyo State, said he studied in an
03:29Arabic school and needed money to go Cairo in Egypt.
03:34He met one of his friends, who he asked to borrow him 150,000 liras.
03:40Edafe said, that guy told him that people that are below you are living larger than
03:46you.

05:06One of the suspects, 17-year-old Gideon, who came from Akwa Ibom State, when asked about
05:13what brought him to the situation, said he came to the estate to hustle.
05:18The teenage boy said he stayed in the estate for over one month and they were only friends
05:23morning and evening, adding that they only slept between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. after which
05:29they start working.
05:30Gideon said they were shown how to hack Facebook and other social media accounts, stating that
05:36he did not like the business because it was hard for him to do.
05:41Speaking on when he spoke last with his parents, Gideon said, they always seized our phones,
05:47and were only allowed to call on Sundays only.
06:17However, what is their modus operandi?
06:26They engage their agents who go on social media to flaunt wealth that most times are
06:32not even theirs, and convince unsuspecting boys of the age of 17, 18, 19, 20, that they
06:39want to teach them forex and also that they want to teach them crypto business.
06:47Now what do they do?
06:48They lure them, some all the way from Kaduna, some all the way from Akwa Ibom, some all
06:53the way from Ibadan, to that particular estate and beat the hell out of them, that is their
07:00own way of coming to them, and feed them only when they feel like feeding them.
07:05In fact, one of them said once they enter the Betruto bath, before they come out they
