00:00Hi, I'm Cody Levesque, and I'm the writer, director, and co-producer of the upcoming

00:08short film, Jack-O-Lantern.

00:10It's a supernatural Halloween horror film that follows a young couple looking to have

00:13a fun and festive date night, but ends up turning into something sinister.

00:17It's inspired by a combination of the original Halloween film, mixed with a dark and supernatural

00:22feel of hereditary.

00:23Carving Jack-O-Lanterns is a staple when it comes to Halloween, so it was obvious to include

00:27this as the focal point of the film.

00:29Now to meet the cast.

00:30Hi, I'm Alicia Lopez, and I play the role of Candace.

00:35I've always wanted to be a scream queen.

00:38That's my dream.

00:39And so when I read the script for Jack-O-Lantern, it immediately reminded me of all of my favorite

00:46horror movies growing up, particularly like Halloween and Scream.

00:51And so I knew that I just had to be a part of it.

00:54Hi, I'm Luke Lydell.

00:55I'm going to be playing the role of Jack in this movie.

00:58I loved this script right when I read it.

01:00I thought it was very well written, and it's about Halloween, and that's my favorite holiday.

01:07I also love everything pumpkins, and spoiler alert, there's going to be some pumpkins in

01:12this film.

01:13In order to bring this film to life, we need your help.

01:51We will then submit to film festivals, especially ones that specialize in horror films.
