00:00Meteorologist Lauren bossa here with an update on Hurricane Helene. As of
00:04thursday evening, it may landfall within the big bend of florida,
00:08continue to track up to the north and impacting place like Georgia, the
00:12Carolinas and of course the mid south. What it did is brought catastrophic
00:16conditions, lots of heavy rainfall and intense wind gusts that led to four
00:21million people without power. As we continue to track this system, it will
00:26move up to the northwest just a bit further. It will get wrapped up within
00:30a low pressure system in the upper levels of the atmosphere and it will
00:34stay stagnant across the Ohio River Valley and the mid south as we continue
00:39through the rest of the weekend. What this means is we will be looking at
00:42some really big impacts whenever it comes to considerable flooding across
00:47some of those spots, something we're keeping a very close eye on as we make
00:50our way throughout the weekend. Of course, you want to keep it here for
00:54the latest updates on the weather dot com.
