2 अक्टूबर 2024 को स्वच्छ भारत अभियान के 10 साल पूरे हो जाएंगे। बक्सर रेलवे स्टेशन पर इसका असर साफ देखा जा सकता है। 10 साल पहले के मुकाबले अब इस स्टेशन की सूरत में जमीन-आसमान का फर्क साफ नजर आता है। यहां के लोग बताते हैं कि पहले स्टेशन के बाहर, स्टेशन परिसर, रेलवे ट्रैक... हर जगह कूड़े का अंबार रहता था। सरकारी जागरूकता और लोगों के प्रयास से धीरे-धीरे तस्वीर बदलने लगी। आज लोग भी स्टेशन की सफाई में सहयोग कर रहे हैं।
