00:00In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
00:07Yasin
00:10By the wise Qur'an
00:15Indeed, you are of the messengers
00:21On a straight path
00:26A revelation of the Almighty, the Merciful
00:32That you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned, so they are heedless
00:45The Word has come into effect on most of them, so they do not believe
00:54Indeed, We have placed shackles in their necks, so they are to their chins, so they are straitened
01:10And We have placed a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, so We have covered them, so they do not see
01:25And it is the same for them whether you warn them or do not warn them, they do not believe
01:39You only warn those who follow the Reminder and fear the Most Merciful in the unseen
01:49So give him good tidings of forgiveness and a generous reward
01:57Indeed, it is We who give life to the dead and record what they have put forth and their footsteps, and everything We have enumerated in a clear record
02:16And set forth for them an example of the people of the town when the messengers came to it
02:28When We sent to them two, but they denied them, so We strengthened with a third, and they said,
02:46Indeed, We are to you messengers.
02:54They said, You are not but human beings like us, and the Most Merciful has not sent down anything. You are but lying.
03:18They said, Our Lord knows that we are to you messengers, and we are only responsible for the clear message.
03:35They said, Indeed, we are to you messengers. If you do not desist, we will surely strike you, and a painful punishment will surely touch you from us.
03:58They said, Your bird is with you, if you are reminded. Rather, you are a people who are extravagant.
04:13And there came from the farthest part of the city a man running. He said, O my people, follow the messengers.
04:27Follow those who do not ask you for a reward, and they are guided.
04:37And why should I not worship the One who created me, and to Him you will be returned?
04:48Should I take besides Him gods? If the Most Merciful intends for me harm, their intercession will not avail me in the least, nor will they save me.
05:11Indeed, I will be in manifest error. Indeed, I have believed in your Lord, so listen to me.
05:30It was said, Enter Paradise. He said, O would that a people knew.
05:40Because my Lord has forgiven me and made me of the honored.
05:48And We did not send down upon his people after him any rain from the sky, nor would We have sent it down.
06:09It was not but a single cry, and at once they fell.
06:19O regret for the servants! There did not come to them any messenger except that they used to ridicule him.
06:34Do they not see how many generations We have destroyed before them, that to them they will not return?
06:48And indeed, all of them, when they are gathered before Us, will be brought near.
06:57And a sign for them is the dead earth. We have revived it and brought forth from it grain, and from it they eat.
07:11And We have placed therein gardens of date-palms and grapevines, and We have caused therein to burst forth springs,
07:28that they may eat of its fruit, and what their hands have done. Will they not then be grateful?
07:39Exalted is He who created all species from that which the earth produces, and from themselves, and from that which they do not know.
07:56And a sign for them is the night. We bring forth from it the day, and at once they are oppressed.
08:10And the sun runs to its place of rest. That is the decree of the Exalted in Might, the All-Knowing.
08:22And the moon, We have decreed it to descend until it returns to you, the old mount.
08:37The sun should not reach the moon, nor should the night overtake the day.
08:49And each is in an orbit swimming.
08:57And a sign for them is that We carried their offspring in the loaded ship.
09:09And We created for them from the like of it that which they ride.
09:17And if We willed, We could cause them to burn, but there would be no cry for them, nor would they be saved,
09:27Except as a mercy from Us and a provision for a time.
09:35And when it is said to them, Be mindful of what is before you and what is behind you, that you may be shown mercy.
09:47And no sign comes to them from the signs of their Lord, except that they turn away from them.
09:59And when it is said to them, Spend from that which Allah has provided for you, those who disbelieve say to those who believe,
10:15Do we feed those whom Allah would have willed to feed? You are not but in manifest error.
10:28And they say, When is this promise, if you are truthful?
10:38They do not wait except for one blast that overtakes them while they are disputing.
10:51So they are not able to turn around, nor do they return to their people.
11:02And the trumpet is blown, and at once they descend from the graves to their Lord.
11:20They say, O woe to us! Who has raised us from our bed? This is what the Most Merciful promised, and the Messengers spoke the truth.
11:34It is not but one blast, and at once they are all brought before Us.
11:46So this Day no soul will be wronged at all, and you will not be recompensed except for what you used to do.
12:00Indeed, the companions of Paradise this Day are in a fruitful occupation.
12:12They and their wives are in shades, reclining on couches.
12:24They will have therein fruit, and they will have what they ask for.
12:33Peace. Peace is a word from a Merciful Lord.
12:47And stand apart this Day, O criminals.
12:53Did I not make a covenant to you, O Children of Adam, that you would not worship Satan? Indeed, he is to you a clear enemy.
13:11And that you worship me, this is a straight path.
13:19And indeed, he has led many of you astray. Have you not, then, reason?
13:33This is Hell, which you were promised.
13:43Enter it this Day because you used to disbelieve.
13:51This Day We will seal their mouths, and their hands will speak to Us, and their feet will bear witness to what they used to earn.
14:11And if We willed, We could have wiped over their eyes, and they would have run to the path, but how could they see?
14:25And if We willed, We could have wiped them over their place, but they could not pass or return.
14:40And whoever We give life to, We cause him to die in creation. Do they not understand?
14:50And We have not taught him poetry, nor is it necessary for him. It is but a reminder and a clear Qur'an
15:04to warn those who are alive, and the Word will be justified against the disbelievers.
15:16Do they not see that We have created for them from what Our hands have made cattle, and they are its owners?
15:32And We have made it low for them, and from it is their riding, and from it they eat.
15:42And for them therein are benefits and drinks. Will they not, then, be grateful?
15:51And they have taken other gods besides Allah, that they might be helped.
16:02They are unable to help them, and they are hosts brought to them.
16:12Do not be saddened by what they say. Indeed, We know what they conceal and what they declare.
16:23Does man not see that We have created him from a sperm, and behold, he is a clear adversary?
16:38And he presents to Us an example, and he forgets his creation. He says,
16:45Who will give life to bones while they are scattered?
16:52Say, He will give life to it who created it the first time, and He is, of all creation, Knowing.
17:07He who made for you from the green tree fire, and when you light from it.
17:23Is not He who created the heavens and the earth Able to create like them?
17:35Yes, and He is the All-Knowing Creator.
17:41His command is only, when He intends a thing, that He says to it, Be, and it is.
17:59So exalted is He in Whose hand is the dominion of all things, and to Him you will be returned.
