Incoming Japanese Prime Minister To Call for General Election

Japan's NHK has reported that incoming Prime Minister Ishiba Shigeru is set to call for snap general elections on October 27. He replaces outgoing Prime Minister Kishida Fumio, who resigned following a corruption scandal and economic decline.
