00:17We have a scale modelling club called Scale Modelling Association Pakistan.

00:23It is also called plastic modelling.

00:25All the models of transport and fighting equipment in the world have their own kits available.

00:33Every modeller assembles the model, paints it and puts markings on it.

00:43After that, the model is completed.

00:45The average price of a kit starts from Rs. 2000 and goes up to Rs. 6000.

00:53So the average price is like Rs. 4000 per kit.

00:55Apart from that, you need the right paints, tools and accessories.

01:00But that is a one-time expense.

01:02You need to buy the kit of the vehicle you want to make.

01:08We try to make it as accurate as possible.

01:24We have chapters all over Pakistan.

01:26Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar, Quetta.

01:29The modellers there work in their own cities.

01:34We have one main event every year.

01:38All the modellers from Pakistan come and show their models.

01:42We also have a competition.

01:44Most of our club members have always wanted to fly a plane.

01:53If they can't become a pilot because of some reason,

01:58then they are in this hobby.

02:00I also wanted to become a pilot.

02:02But that doesn't mean that if you can't become a pilot, you can be a scale model.

02:07That's not the case.

02:08It's a completely different hobby.

02:10You need to have a certain passion for that thing.
