00:00The International Space Station is set to be decommissioned in 2031, but that doesn't
00:08mean the multicultural team isn't still up there doing their jobs, and recently two
00:12of the Russian cosmonauts who are dwelling 254 miles above the Earth's surface conducted
00:17a spacewalk.
00:18But why?
00:19Reuters reports they were relocating a piece of hardware, moving it from the Rassvet module
00:23to the Nauka lab module.
00:25The goal?
00:26Move an airlock and install a radiator for better cooling.
00:28The whole transit took some six hours, with Roscosmos cosmonaut Sergei Prokopyev and Dmitry
00:33Petelin making the walk.
00:35But they had help from the European Space Agency's newest toy, a gigantic robotic arm
00:39that was recently launched up to the station.
00:41This isn't their first excursion outside the black of space either.
00:44These two have been on several spacewalks for repairs and experiments.
00:48In fact, this is their second such walk in only two weeks, and the pair have another
00:51one scheduled for May 12th, where they plan to finish connecting all of the electronics
00:56related to the recent hardware move.
