00:00One of the things experts have pointed out is that the punch delivered to the subject's

00:09face in the first few seconds of video is completely real.

00:13Seen here, frame by frame, we see that one of the men restraining him throws a punch

00:18with his right hand, striking him solidly on the side of the head, a blow which, despite

00:25the severity and force, does not appear to have any effect on the subject other than

00:31to knock out a tooth, which we can see being spit out here.

00:40Several times throughout the 61-minute video, we observed Jason seemingly legitimately confused

00:47by the proceedings taking place.

00:50Dr. Abigail Stone of the Multnomah Research Center has said that this is a common symptom

00:55in people suffering from mental illness and alluded to the fact that the subject was demonstrating

01:01signs of disassociation and schizophrenia, including common symptoms such as delusions,

01:08disorganized thinking, and abnormal motor skill behavior.

01:13Detractors have pointed to this behavior as proof of Jason's mental illness.

01:18In fact, there are moments within the film in which he seems to have moments of lucidity

01:23where he begs for someone, anyone, to call his doctor, saying that he will take his medications

01:31and he'll go to a clinic.

01:33His requests for medical aid are ignored throughout the film.

01:51As the priest and the room continue to use the word demon, as they continue to tell the

02:10ill man who is easily confused and vulnerable to the power of suggestion?
