00:00We have created man in hardship.
00:04This hardship is the fate of every human being.
00:08People have left their homes.
00:10Man goes to so many places.
00:12In this world, there is hardship and hard work.
00:14Yes, there is a rumor that
00:16the people who live in palaces
00:18do not have any hardship.
00:20They do not have any sorrow.
00:22However, this is not the reality.
00:24The richer you are,
00:26you will see that
00:28their physical hardship is less
00:30and their mental hardship is more.
00:32They need tranquilizers.
00:34They need sedatives.
00:36They do not need
00:38sleep-inducing drugs.
00:40After 8 hours of hard work,
00:42they feel as if
00:44they will wake up in the morning.
00:46And these are the people
00:48who do not have
00:50hypnotics, sleep-inducing drugs,
00:52sedatives,
00:54libelium,
00:56and so on.
00:58They do not have
01:00mental peace and tranquility.
01:02They do not have it.
01:04Some have physical hardship
01:06and some have mental hardship.
01:08I would like to remind you
01:10about Mahatma Gautam Buddha.
01:12At the age of 30,
01:14the prince of Kapalbastu
01:16left the palace.
01:18He left his young wife
01:20sleeping.
01:22He left his
01:24loving son.
01:26He left.
01:28He was a resident
01:30of the palace.
01:32He knew that after his death,
01:34he would get the throne.
01:36Why did he leave?
01:38Have you ever thought about it?
01:40He saw the sorrows and
01:42sorrows of the people.
01:44He saw someone
01:46who was blind,
01:48someone whose parents
01:50were standing and crying.
01:52His beloved son
01:54was dying.
01:56He could do nothing.
01:58He thought,
02:00why is this sorrow
02:02destined for man?
02:04Is there any way
02:06to get rid of this sorrow?
02:08A great majority of humans,
02:10Shah Waliullah Dehlvi,
02:12may Allah have mercy on him,
02:14live their lives
02:16like camels and oxen.
02:18Imagine a person
02:20who is working
02:22for eight hours.
02:24Is he really a human
02:26or has he become a beast?
02:28And even after this hard work
02:30of eight hours,
02:32he may not get two meals.
02:34And this is not possible.
02:36It happens that if a child
02:38falls ill,
02:40he may not be able to
02:42buy medicine.
02:44Such a person is
02:46buried in hard work.
02:48Camels and oxen
02:50live their lives
02:52like a great majority of humans.
02:54But you know
02:56that for a camel,
02:58hard work is hard work.
03:00It is not his feelings
03:02that cause
03:04sorrow to man.
03:06A camel does not care
03:08if it has a child or not,
03:10if it has a fever or not.
03:12The camel is safe from this sorrow.
03:14A camel does not care
03:16if it has a child or not,
03:18if it has a fever or not.
03:20It does not care.
03:22But a human being
03:24has to bear
03:26the sorrows of his parents
03:28for the sake of his children.
03:30It is forbidden to sleep at night
03:32because the child is suffering
03:34from fever or pain.
03:36Therefore, neither the mother
03:38nor the father can sleep.
03:40I once saw
03:42that in Lahore,
03:44kerosene oil was not available
03:46at that time.
03:48And mostly it was used
03:50as fuel.
03:52So, there used to be
03:54long queues
03:56outside the shops
03:58and depots.
04:00And there used to be
04:02such scenes
04:04that a woman
04:06holding a baby
04:08in her lap,
04:10does a human being
04:12bear this hardship or not?
04:14Ghalib has depicted this
04:18that a human being
04:20gets rid of his sorrows.
04:22The difficulties
04:24have become so great
04:26that we forget them.
04:28Otherwise, the reality is that
04:30if the heart is sensitive
04:32and the prisoner of life
04:34and the prisoner of sorrow
04:36are both the same,
04:38then it means that
04:40we have created man in captivity.
04:42The matter of animals
04:44is easier than anything else.
04:46Do we have to
04:48question them?
04:50Do we have to answer them?
04:52Do we have to stand
04:54in the presence of Allah
04:56and account for our deeds?
04:58No.
05:00This is the tragedy of man.
05:02This is the worldliness of man.
05:04We have to swear
05:06by Allah.
05:10What did Allah say after this?
05:18O man!
05:20Your worldliness, your tragedy
05:22is much greater than this.
05:24You have to stand in the presence
05:26of your Lord,
05:28bearing hardships
05:30one day.
05:32You have to answer.
