Seahawks 'just not good enough' in first defeat of 2024 season

00:05Got to give Detroit a lot of credit.

00:09I thought they had a great plan offensively.

00:12Definitely, I mean, they just outplayed us

00:15on the defensive side of the ball for us.

00:18I will tell you this, our guys fought the heck out

00:20of that game.

00:21They went down to the last second.

00:23And that's what I'm most proud of right now.

00:25And we're going to hold on to that.

00:26And that's a foundation that we've built here

00:28that we're going to push forward with.

00:31And we're four weeks into the season.

00:34And look, I mean, the message all week

00:36has been that we're on the foundation of our football

00:38team and where we want to be.

00:39And it's obvious we're not the team that we want to be yet.

00:43And we shouldn't be the team that we're going to be.

00:46We have time to grow as a football team.

00:50We have a short week.

00:51We have to have a sense of urgency about it.

00:53And we need to take the next step.

00:55But it just wasn't good enough, especially

00:57on the defensive side of the ball today.

01:01So we've got to make it right and move forward.
