00:00Here we grow, it's a permaculture site and we grow vegetables and fruit.
00:10There is plenty of apple trees. There's other trees available. It's a very nice, quiet site.
00:19People can walk around, find out what sort of, what we are actually growing.
00:26And just recently, we've been having a good harvest after a very bad spring.
00:33We have been able to let visitors to the site, have apples and runner beans and lettuce and
00:44swede. We cultivate the beds ready for winter and the next spring.
00:50And during the winter, we'll be doing a lot of clearing. And of course, being a garden,
00:56there's also plenty of weeds to get rid of. It's a really pleasant to come and volunteer and work
01:05with other volunteers. And anyone is welcome to come here and volunteer. And we just hope
01:15people are interested. They can come around, have a look. They can bring the children in.
01:21It's really a very pleasant, relaxing place to come. This next year, we are looking forward to
01:31having some floral displays as well as growing a lot of vegetables. And we're also going to
01:41make people aware of what is actually being grown. There are many people who come around
01:49and are not too sure what that particular vegetable is. And so, we are hoping that people
01:58will come around, be educated and just enjoy the peace and quiet of the site. The place is really
02:08welcoming. And we just want people to come, enjoy and learn things.
02:17Okay. So, June's been with us for the best part of a year now. And she is absolutely invaluable
02:23to the volunteer team here at Offshoots. She comes multiple times a week. The knowledge she has is
02:32probably greater than anybody else that comes at the moment in terms of planting and the area and
02:37the community that surrounds Offshoots. She's enthusiastic. She's keen. And everybody loves her.
