00:00So, tell me about Lydia's cheesecake business and how it all started.
00:14So before Lydia took an interest in cheesecakes, she really enjoyed helping me out in the kitchen.
00:19She was always watching me watch Masterchef and took a real sort of interest in helping
00:24chop the veg, chop the onions, chop the cucumber.
00:29Lydia being terribly stubborn wanted to get involved with the hob, the oven, and we didn't
00:33really feel it appropriate for her to be sort of doing that on her own.
00:37So that's when it came into dessert making and cheesecakes.
00:41Lydia first started making cheesecakes for friends and family.
00:45It kind of quickly developed from there as people started seeing the kind of stuff that
00:49she was making and sort of wanted a piece of the action, which is when we started to
00:53take it a bit more seriously, and that's kind of where we've got to today really.
00:57So tell me about the business, and it's obviously on Facebook I believe?
01:03Yes, yes.
01:04So Lydia's Cheesecake, namely named after Lydia, started out as I say just through word
01:09of mouth, through friends and family.
01:11We made a little page for Lyds just to document for her really, you know, photos, videos,
01:16stuff for us all to see.
01:18It's available on Facebook.
01:20We've recently partnered with Haven't More Liverweeds and an upcoming partnership with
01:23a new business.
01:25So to order Lydia's Cheesecakes, you can just message our Facebook page.
01:29So long as it's sort of reasonable hours, Lyds is more than prepared to get involved.
01:34But on her page, you can order sort of any time.
01:37Haven't More Liverweeds, you can order on a Thursday, Friday, Saturday.
01:41You can collect, we can deliver, sort of whatever's convenient for you guys.
01:45That's brilliant.
01:46So Lydia, tell me, what's your favourite cheesecake to eat?
01:50Cheesecake.
01:51Is it?
01:53What type, how many different cheesecakes can you make?
01:57Lemon.
02:01You've just got loads.
02:02There's just too many to remember.
02:04All sorts, haven't you?
02:05So what do you do?
02:06Do you do different types?
02:07Lemon biscuit.
02:08Do you do different like trays and things?
02:11Tell me a little bit about those then.
02:14What can people order?
02:15So what size is that one that you're holding?
02:17Small.
02:18A small.
02:19And what's the medium one called?
02:20A cup.
02:21Oh, that's a large one.
02:22A medium one's called a cup.
02:25Sorry, you've got me confused now.
02:27A medium one's called a tub.
02:29And a large one's called a cup.
02:32But you also do really big whoppers, don't you?
02:35Yes.
02:36Massive.
02:378 inch or 10 inch.
02:38They're like about that big.
02:39That big.
02:40Wow.
02:41So we've made a few for people's birthdays.
02:44Sort of corporate events, they seem to go down well.
02:47But we can also do really, really small ones as well, can't we?
02:50They're your favourite ones.
02:52Tell me why you like doing it, Lydia.
02:55Because it makes me busy.
02:58Keeps you busy?
03:00Is it nice and relaxing?
03:02As a tired old lady.
03:04Is it nice and relaxing when you're doing it?
