Durood Shareef, also known as Salawat, is a revered Islamic prayer that invokes blessings, peace, and mercy upon the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and his noble family.


Text:

"Allahumma salli ala Muhammadin wa ala ali Muhammadin, kama sallayta ala Ibrahim wa ala ali Ibrahim, innaka hamidun majid. Allahumma barik ala Muhammadin wa ala ali Muhammadin, kama barakta ala Ibrahim wa ala ali Ibrahim, innaka hamidun majid."


Translation:

"O Allah, bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, as You blessed Ibrahim and the family of Ibrahim. Verily, You are Praised and Glorious. O Allah, grant bounty to Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, as You granted bounty to Ibrahim and the family of Ibrahim. Verily, You are Praised and Glorious."
