00:08:18We love doing that and after like I start practicing jiu-jitsu muay thai and all the stuff
00:08:23I said, yeah, I can do it and now i'm here my nickname come from the promise. I made to my mom
00:08:27I remember when i'm start like fighting professional. I'm so alive like 18 years old
00:08:31Everything started getting hard because I need to more like sacrifice no moment and everything and my mom just want me to study
00:08:38And okay, I tried to do both of this and then but it's really hard and I said came home like look
00:08:42I'm gonna make you a promise if I don't fight on united state before i'm
00:08:4622 I promise you I stop I stop training and I dedicate my life to the study
00:08:50But let me try because that's for me
00:08:52It's the most important thing and my mom said okay and after like I show her like I can I come here to united state
00:08:57I fight and everything and say, okay alberto like i'm with you now now i'm supporting you
00:09:02That's motivate me a lot. My mom and my dad
00:09:04Maybe it's a kid's talk
00:09:06But I say look your mom can see you there like with somebody beat your ass like you're too short
00:09:10You are the best and that's one thing like really motivate me
00:09:13Like that's why I train hard too because I say, okay, like my mom's gonna be from the tv watching me

00:09:21The jiu-jitsu contract mean for me like the beginning of everything like I want that contract for a start
00:09:26I want the contract for show the people what I can do. I want that contract because I know I can be the best martial artist
00:09:37I've had the dream of being in the ufc for as long as i've been training
00:09:40But as far as these dreams of grandeur, it's been my whole life

00:10:44He's an impressive fighter. He's got some taekwondo. He's got some chokes
00:10:47But I also don't think he has anything for me that I haven't seen before

00:10:54I feel like going into this fight a lot of people are counting me out and none of that matters to me
