00:27It's already past 8 in the morning when the Congressional aspirants started arriving here
00:33at the office of the Commission on Elections, National Capital Region in Salud City.
00:39The COC has already hired 5 people for different districts in Metro Manila,
00:44including former Mayor Len Len Ureta, who is running for congressman of Lone District,
00:51incumbent Manila's 2nd District Representative Rolando Valeriano,
00:55who is also willing to run for congressman.
00:59Since yesterday, the COC has hired 18 aspirants here in Comilec NCR.
01:05According to the leadership of Comilec NCR, there are 33 congressional districts in Metro Manila
01:11and it is estimated that there are 200 to 300 COCs to fight in our districts.
01:18In their interviews, the aspirants were asked what are their platforms
01:24for them to win or to be elected again. Let's listen to this.
01:30If I did the last 5-6 years, I think the district has changed.
01:38I am now the chairman of Metro Manila Development in Congress.
01:44I did a good job in Matarupac. I did the pumping stations one by one, especially in Bumahatay.
01:52I can apply all the things I learned as a mayor in Congress.
01:56So that we can make legislation that will help not only in Malabon but in the whole Philippines.
