00:05What time is it now that the typhoon Julian will enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility again?

00:12But there is a separate weather system that caused floods in Mindanao.

00:16In some places, the water is overflowing, so many people were evacuated and there are stranded.

00:28Dato Abdulla Sanky, from Maguindanao del Sur, is on the scene.

00:32There was a heavy downpour yesterday.

00:36Some residents drowned in the flood.

00:38Oh, please don't.

00:40But some vehicles, especially those going to Potabato City and Isulan Sultan Kudrat,

00:45couldn't handle the high tide, so they were stranded.

00:49In the town of Ampatuan, a large part of Barangay Saniag was flooded.

00:54According to locals, the rain didn't stop yesterday,

00:57so the water level rose in the ditches and reached their houses and rice fields.

01:02That area is Talungan and the rice fields.

01:05It's like you can't see anything at this moment.

01:08There is a team on the National Highway that is picking up stranded people.

01:16In Barangay Kamasi, residents had to be evacuated because of the high tide.

01:20The water level gradually rose in the area this morning.

01:24The PDRRMO in Maguindanao del Sur conducted an investigation

01:28in Pinsalang Iniwan regarding the heavy downpour and flood in the town of Ampatuan.

01:32The most affected are the Barangay Saniag, Kauran and Malatimon.

01:36More than 120 families had to be evacuated in those areas.

01:40Another family was trapped in their house and had to be evacuated

01:44because the flood reached the roof of their house.

01:49Aside from Maguindanao, several houses in Digo City, Davao del Sur were also flooded.

01:53The water level rose on Saturday because of the heavy downpour.

01:56This family was forced to leave their house even though it was already night.

02:04According to the locals,

02:05We had an active Easter lease yesterday over the Mindanao area

02:11and that's what caused the rain in the eastern and southern portion of Mindanao.

02:18So it's not related to the flood.

02:21It's a better time than expected for the flood today and in the coming days

02:25but the possibility of thunderstorms is still there.
