00:00Dear Kyr, In these very uncertain times, like-minded partners like us must cooperate more closely.
00:22And that is what we are doing when it comes to Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine.
00:30We remain fully behind Ukraine's brave fight for freedom and independence.
00:35As members of the G7, we coordinate closely our joint and continued support to the people
00:41of Ukraine.
00:43And we do the same for our sanctions against Russia.
00:46Because European security concerns us all in and outside the European Union.
00:53We are strongly aligned in our fight against climate change, the global warming.
00:58We're both working intensively towards decarbonised and circular economies and the protection
01:05of nature.
01:07So many topics where we are very much aligned and share values.
01:12I firmly believe that the British public wants a return to pragmatic, sensible leadership
01:20when it comes to dealing with our closest neighbours.
01:23To make Brexit work and to deliver in their interests to find ways to boost economic growth,
01:30strengthen our security and tackle shared challenges like irregular migration and climate
01:36change.
01:38We will, as you've already indicated, discuss other wider issues like the crisis in the
01:43Middle East.
01:44And can I join you in condemning the attack by Iran just recently?
01:49We stand with Israel, recognising her full right to security and to self-defence.
01:56We are determined to put this relationship back on a stable, positive footing that I
02:02think we all want to see.
02:04Thank you, Ursula.
02:05Thank you very much.
