00:00What is the green roof?
00:14The green roof is for the thermoregulation of the house,
00:19because the Polish roof is very hot from the sun,
00:28and even if there is good thermal insulation at the bottom,
00:32this still leads to heat in the whole house.
00:36The green roof ideally copes with the overheating of the house,
00:45and in the winter, respectively, there is additional thermal insulation.
00:59We created the Institute for Ecological Conservation
01:02with the mission to promote ecological conservation in Bulgaria
01:07and in the Balkan region as a whole.
01:10Ecological conservation is the ecological way of life,
01:13the ecological philosophy,
01:15when we pass on the knowledge that comes from our roots
01:19in a modern, new way,
01:21when we pass it on as if we were teaching,
01:24this institute is being taught as specialists,
01:27people who work in the institute,
01:29as well as people who can change their habits
01:33and even educate young people.
01:45Whenever you enter such a house,
01:47the feeling is, if you enter in the summer,
01:51that it is cold inside,
01:53if you enter in the winter,
01:55that it is warm inside.
01:57The reality is that it simply maintains a constant temperature
02:02and does not allow the temperature inside the house
02:05to change as it changes outside.
