00:00When we came home, my fiancé and I found they were digging outside the property.
00:04They hadn't given any notification and they told my fiancé, who is pregnant, to climb over the
00:10pit they created to get in the house. Through a lot of research we found out this section of land
00:16is actually part of private property owned by myself. It was an easement given when building
00:21the estate around the corner. So Virgin Media and Next Fibre have built on the private property
00:26and so far no one is admitting fault and agreeing to remove it or work with me to a solution that
00:31will be beneficial to both parties. I'm not going to stop this fight. Once again, it's large
00:37companies that feel that they are beyond the reach of the law and can do what they want,
00:41take what they want with no repercussions and it's something that needs to be addressed.
00:46Government before have stated they won't allow things like this yet it still occurs
00:50and it is beyond a joke at this point. There's so many of these units being placed around deal at
00:55the moment. Has this happened to someone else who doesn't know about their property boundaries at
01:00that point? I wasn't actually aware this was an easement until I researched into this. Luckily
01:05the previous owners were my parents and they were the ones that created the easement in the first
01:09place so I had a lot of information there. So I would say if anyone's got one of these being
01:13placed outside their property and they're not happy about it, research your deeds, look into
01:18it all, make sure that it's been put there legally and if not, fight it.
