00:00Alright, Krimny, or K-Rim-ny, or K-Rim-ny, as said, what do you think about Diggs for
00:14Montgomery and Shaheed?
00:16I was not on the Diggs bandwagon to start this year, and I feel like as this offense
00:25continues to progress, that maybe he is not going to be as big of a part of it.
00:30I do like that they are trying to get him involved right now, but I feel like there's
00:34been a couple of times where, oh, if Dell makes a play, or if someone else makes a play,
00:37then maybe there isn't a Diggs thing.
00:39I feel like he could get pushed into being an afterthought.
00:42And so, Krimny, are you getting Diggs, or are you trading him away for Montgomery and
00:51Shaheed?
00:52I feel like this is a fairly fair trade, especially as we go now into the bye weeks,
00:57getting a little bit more depth.
00:59If you are trading away a Stefan Diggs and acquiring, so you would be getting Diggs.
01:04Okay.
01:05I still don't mind it.
01:07I know I was just kind of talking down Stefan Diggs.
01:09I still don't mind it.
01:11Montgomery, like, it was very obvious last night who the guy was in Detroit, right?
01:15So Montgomery is still going to get some, but that is maybe not necessarily as reliable
01:22a source of touches going forward.
01:25And Shaheed, I think looks awesome, and I think is really, really talented.
01:30And if Derek Carr gets a perfect pocket all the time, then I think there are going to
01:34be a lot of options for Shaheed.
01:36I don't think, though, that you worry about giving him up.
01:42And so, I think you are taking two pieces that are kind of like, oh, well, you know,
01:46if this, this, and this hits, then maybe.
01:49And getting Stefan Diggs, who I know I said could get pushed back in that offense, but
01:52it also feels like this offense is growing a little bit.
01:55So I will say, I would say do that.
01:57I would, I would go out and acquire a Diggs if that were the case.
02:00I don't think you're overpaying in that situation, and like, you're a Collins injury away from
02:05being right in there.
02:06Although, I mean, we just talked about that with the other two guys that you kind of need
02:08injuries for them.
02:09So maybe not the best point, but I do think I would, I would take that deal and I would
02:13be getting Diggs in that spot.
02:15Okay.
02:16Let's go now into the fantasy football waiver wire.
02:19As we get now into the bi-week season and we start to see, you know, okay, what kind
02:26of depth do we actually have?
02:28A few of these are going to be guys you can play right away.
02:31And a few of these are going to be guys that maybe you need to just kind of stash for a
02:35rainy day.
02:36At quarterback, this one is a bit more of a, if you are desperate play, it is Justin
02:39Fields.
02:4032% owned.
02:41They'll be facing the Cowboys this week.
02:43And I do think that Dallas can be a tricky matchup for quarterbacks at times, but you
02:49look at how the Cowboys have struggled so far this season, yes, Thursday night against
02:55Daniel Jones, like, okay, they gave up a lot of yards though.
02:59And I think that is something to keep an eye on.
03:02Before that, it was Baltimore and we all saw Baltimore just carve them up for, like, just
03:08absolutely destroyed them, right?
03:10So for three quarters anyway.
03:12And then before that, it was New Orleans.
03:14Okay, well, the Saints didn't punt, so they played pretty well.
03:18And then the week before that, yeah, they beat Cleveland.
03:21But I think we're starting to see giving up 17 points to Cleveland is maybe a little
03:25bit more concerning than it should be.
03:26So I think that Justin Fields has an opportunity to put up some points this week.
03:31And so if you have a Jalen Hurts on a bye or something like that, I think that this
03:34is a fine pickup to help you out in that area.
03:38By the way, the cutoff that I have for these is 35% owned or fewer.
03:42So in some deeper leagues, or in some less deep leagues, a Geno Smith being available
03:48or something like that could be a real option for you as well.
03:51At running back, the first one here is Roshon Johnson.
03:5327% owned.
03:54He had 15 carries in the last two weeks.
03:56He gets the touchdown this week.
03:58And quite frankly, he looks like the best running back in Chicago.
04:01So that is the guy who I think that has the best opportunity, I think maybe of anyone
04:09on the WaferWire this week, to be a long-term solution, but also be someone who can help
04:14you out in a bit more of the immediate.
04:17At 24% owned, it's Samaje P. Ryan.
04:20Very quiet in the passing game this week, but he does get a goal line look, and that
04:24gets him into the end zone, which does kind of save his day a little bit.
04:27As Deeds, I don't know if Deeds is still hanging out in the chat, but Deeds knows that
04:30kind of saved him a little bit.
04:31Deeds has him, I think, on his bench.
04:33He and I were very...
04:34I almost got my first vampire there.
04:36We almost got there, but not quite.
04:40But still, P. Ryan, I think, is someone who has some opportunities, because steals look
04:46bad, and it's a couple of fumbles now for steal, and it feels like he has been kind
04:50of pushed now into short-yardage, fullback, running back three territory.
04:55I think P. Ryan is always going to have a role in the passing game.
04:58Kareem Hunt looked fine.
04:59That is one that is available in a number of leagues.
05:02Ethically, I have an issue with picking him up.
05:05Maybe I'll do some googling to see how much he has kind of learned from that situation
05:09that he had a few years ago, but he does feel like he's going to get a bit more of the
05:13carries out there.
05:14And the last running back is Tyler Algier.
05:16He had 10 carries slash targets this week.
05:19Eight carries, two targets.
05:21He's not going to take Bijon's role, but there is a chance that he still gets his a little
05:25bit, and he is showing, like, he is still a talented running back.
05:30And I think right now for an Atlanta offense that still kind of feels a little stuck in
05:33the mud, they are going to need to just have as many talented people as they can.
05:38That was one thing we didn't talk about in the NFL rundown, but Atlanta, like, the final
05:42score looks better than it was.
05:44They got, I believe it was a pick six, and a muff punt for a touchdown, and then a bunch
05:49of field goals to help them win, so I wouldn't be taking Atlanta too seriously right now,
05:54but I think Algier has a chance in this offense.
05:57That wide receiver, Wandale Robinson, 27% owned.
06:00Even if Neighbors is healthy, he has had eight plus targets in three of four games.
06:04Now, those targets are coming from Daniel Jones, so, you know, concerns.
06:08But this is still, I think, someone who is just getting a whole lot of volume, and you
06:14have to understand that the floor could be zero.
06:17Like, that this is not a, oh, just a nice little safe four points, let's just get it
06:22and move on.
06:23No, no, no, no, no, no.
06:24This is a good goose egg, yeah, and quite honestly, the ceiling ain't that high, but
06:29there is still a pretty good range in there where I think you can be successful with Wandale
06:35Robinson.
06:36Another one here, Michael Wilson, 17% owned, 16 targets in the last two weeks combined.
06:41He, I haven't checked the snaps this week, but coming into this week, he was getting
06:45the second most amount of snaps in that wide receiver room, and so I think as Kyler Murray
06:49continues to get settled in and continues to get going, Wilson is going to continue
06:53to get his opportunities, and so I think that's a decent play.
06:56And the last one is Xavier Leggett, at 14% owned.
06:59He balled out with Thielen out last week.
07:01It's a really tough matchup against Chicago, so this is not a guy to play this week, I
07:06don't think at all, but I do think that this is a guy that will continue to show some value
07:11in this offense, because, like, if he plays well in an Adam Thielen absence, for a team
07:18that probably isn't going anywhere, it makes more sense for this team to run out Leggett
07:23every week than it does to run out an Adam Thielen, so I think that this, now, keep an
07:28eye on the quarterback situation, obviously, but I think this is a player who is going
07:31to continue to get more opportunities as this season goes along.
07:34At tight end, we're throwing a dart, and this week it lands on Ty Conklin, 34% owned.
07:39He had 8 targets last week, we just talked about it, it was just an ugly game.
07:42On the defensive side, it is toxic, this is your time, you're asking for defenses, we
07:46got them for you.
07:4728% owned, the Seattle defense going up against the New York Giants, I know we just kind of
07:55talked up our boy Wanda Robinson there a little bit, but yeah, this defense is going to have
08:01a good time, I think, against the New York Giants this week, so a good one there.
08:05If you need a little bit more help, and they are taken, or whatever, Denver against the
08:09Las Vegas Raiders.
08:10The Raiders did finally put up some points this week against Cleveland, but Denver's
08:15defense looked pretty good, even in the elements against the Jets, and Vegas's offense continues
08:20to be bad.
08:22So that is the Fantasy Football Waiver Wire for the week.
