This DIY bed rail will help stop your child from going bump in the night.

00:00Our oldest son is a squirmy sleeper, so it's not uncommon for him to squiggle his way off
00:07the bed during the night.
00:09Here's a tip we found that works great.
00:13If you have pool noodles laying around, use them.
00:15If you don't, it's worth the purchase.
00:17A pack of four noodles typically costs less than $20 online.
00:21All you do is place a pool noodle on the open side of the bed, or on both sides if the bed
00:26isn't against a wall, and make sure to put the bottom sheet over the noodle so it won't
00:31roll away.
00:32The pool noodles act as bumpers, and they are so much cheaper than proper bumpers, which
00:36run around $40 for one.
00:39If you don't have a pool noodle, roll up a few towels or blankets and place those on
00:44each side of the bed.
00:45Again, cover the bumpers with sheets.
00:48There you have it.
00:49A super simple alternative to bed bumpers.
