00:00Let's hear from Bobby Witt Jr. Of course he drove in the only run yesterday, his
00:06first playoff experience. He enjoyed it. Honestly I kind of felt calm throughout
00:13the whole entire game. I don't know it was just that last sitting in the ninth
00:16it's whenever you feel a little butterflies and stuff but it was pretty
00:19fun. But yeah it's just it's just one of those things where that's it's the same
00:23game you've always played. The pitcher 60 feet 6 inches away, first base is 90
00:27feet away, second base is another 90 feet away. So it's the same game. Grew up
00:31playing and you just got to make make the most of it. Yeah it's gonna be louder
00:33yeah it's gonna be bigger whatever but you just got to know that this is the
00:37game I grew up playing loving and this is the game I enjoy. Same game as always.
00:41I mean honestly just stop with that. This is this is the postseason in Major League
00:48Baseball. This is the playoffs. This is not a little league game. This is not the
00:53game that you played every day your whole life. This is postseason baseball.
00:59Let's establish that fact right here and now. This is not even close frankly to
01:06regular season games. I mean let me tell you something. Most people that I know
01:12could give a rat's ass about baseball. I mean honestly like during a summer like
01:16they might have it on on the back porch or the garage you know working on the
01:22car or something like that. But when I was like a kid I'm being honest. When I
01:27was a kid we used to listen to the games on the radio like like every day. You
01:32listen to the the you know Pirates games every day or the Yankee games. You
01:37watched them every day. You listen to them every day. That's the way it was.
01:41Nowadays honestly no one cares at all and I don't either and I bet on it
01:48every day but I only I only am interested in the two or three bets that
01:52I place. I'm not interested in even watching the game. I just want to know
01:56what the final score is and when I watch those three bets each night that's all
02:01I'm watching. I don't even care about anything else going on in Major League
02:05Baseball ever. I don't care about all their rumors, all their injuries, all the
02:10this and that and all the nonsense. But I'll tell you one thing. The minute
02:15October starts I'm all in. I am all in on on postseason baseball. So that's the
02:23difference. I don't think people care about regular season baseball anymore.
02:26It's so long and boring and staid and vanilla. It's so awful. It really is. And
02:32then all of a sudden the leaves start falling. It turns to October and you got
02:37baseball playoffs and everybody's interested. And I was saying to Luke, I
02:42that today just like yesterday it's every day now through the DS. You know
02:48you go wild cards and DS it's every day. It's it's in the afternoon into the
02:54night. And then when you get further into the pennant and the World Series the
02:59games are all at night right. But I mean just like the Stanley Cup playoffs Mike
03:03the first round's the best. The wild card and the DS are every day while we're on
03:08the air we're gonna be doing games and that is exciting. So Bobby Witt can take
03:13that and stick it in his ear. It's just another day. It's just another game. 60
