00:00This is our seedlings garden, so we have a little group here every week that are for
00:19preschool children.
00:20They come in, we try to aim to be outside all the time, so these amazing lottery winners
00:25have come in today and they're revamping our seedlings garden.
00:28So they're putting a new water feature in, they're topping up our mud garden, they're
00:33making a nice wild garden, so we like to promote bees and pollinators and education here, so
00:39that's brilliant.
00:40And it's just come at such a great time, with Lottery being 30 years and also Sackwell celebrating
00:46their 60th this year as well, their 60th anniversary, it's just an excellent time and it'll mean
00:50so much to us at Sackwell Farm and also for our seedlings, so it'll be really good.
00:56It's really great that they've chosen to help out the farm in this way, yeah.
00:59Yeah, it's absolutely amazing, I've not been, I used to be a seedlings mum and now I run
01:04the seedlings group, so I've seen it from both sides and it will just be incredible.
01:08The guys absolutely love getting involved in the mud, in the water, it's great for the
01:12adults because they don't have to clear up afterwards, that's now my job, which is brilliant.
01:17And we're going to have a little garden where they can grow things and that as well, so
01:20we promote growing, teaching the kids how to grow things and this area is all about
01:25education and like I say, principle as well, so it's brilliant.
01:28So how do kids get involved in the seedlings group?
01:30They, you go online, it's part of our education programme and you can go online and become
01:36one of the seedlings, we meet weekly and then we have a programme, so this season for example,
01:43we've gone and groomed a pony, we've done apple pressing, but it's all literally outside,
01:49so even yesterday it was chipping down the rain, we still went for a walk and we picked
01:53leaves and we looked at conkers and things like that, so it's all promoting outside
01:57and just having a great time, so it's brilliant.
02:14So I understand you guys have come down from Kent from today, to help out?
02:18Yeah, we came down yesterday, two hours into this day.
02:21Yeah, two hours, yeah, came down, sussed out the area, a little bit of Stamford.
02:25Yeah, beautiful town.
02:27Yeah, so what made you guys really want to come and get involved in this project here today?
02:31We've got a little two year old girl, so we thought she would love something like this
02:35in the area that we come from, so we just thought it would touch our hearts and we wanted
02:39to help the little children out around the loose area, so they can have some fun and
02:42make some chaos of their own here.
02:45Yeah, so a little bit about what you guys are exactly doing today, what exactly are
02:48you building in this seedling garden?
02:50We've been set up in three teams, so we've got the water run coming on in the middle,
02:54we've got the mud kitchen for your team, isn't it?
02:57Yeah, and then a wildflower bed area over there for all the bees and other bugs to come.
03:03Which is coming on really, really well.
03:04Yeah, it looks lovely over there, yeah.
03:06Yeah, so you guys are part of the millionaire team, so you've had a little bit of a win
03:09for yourself in the past?
03:11Yeah, six years ago, to purchase the debate.
03:13Yeah, we won on the, well we found out on the 30th of September, six years ago, and
03:17yeah, we feel very blessed and lucky, so.
03:20That's really great that you're here to go, well give back to other people who do
03:23projects, yeah.
03:24Yeah, definitely, we always do whatever we can to help out, even if it's not the lottery
03:27we do stuff, don't we?
03:29Yeah, amazing team behind us.
03:31Yeah, it's a good team, we've all come together really well.
