Will the arrival of Russell Westbrook help three-time MVP Nikola Jokic and co. win another championship?

00:00Once you win a championship, you don't really accept anything other than that.

00:03Really, we just want to get back on top.

00:05Boston has the crown right now, and we feel like we have the team to do it.

00:25They always say it's really tough to win a championship again.

00:27I think it's really tough to win a championship anyhow, especially after going through so

00:33much emotions after winning a championship.

00:36The season seemed like we didn't have a break, but we just feel longer, and maybe we were

00:43tired, maybe we were not.

00:45We want to be a team that plays into June, and to do so, we have to make sure that we

00:49are getting guys the necessary rest.

00:51And that's not just physically, that's emotionally, that's mentally, making sure we're not demanding

00:57too much of them night in and night out.

01:01I think the last time I played the national team, we won the championship, so that doesn't

01:05really affect my stamina.

01:08Maybe even get me in a better shape, so we will see when the season starts, or maybe

01:13when the season ends.

01:14Best player in the world, and he can do everything on the basketball court.

01:17Nikola can't do it by himself, but it definitely helps having the three-time MVP on our team.

01:23When Russ is on the court, we want him to be Russell Westbrook.

01:27We want him to play fast, play downhill, have an attack mindset, get his team organized,

01:32and just bring that heart and soul that he brings every night.

01:35On the court, off the court, he was nothing but perfect right now, so hopefully he's going

01:39to do the same thing the whole season.

01:40When you're a head coach, and you have a 17-year veteran who plays with that energy, who competes

01:46at that level, and pushes everybody around him, that is a real luxury to have as a coach,

01:51because he's going to set the tone every day.

01:53To have him on the team with his energy and his relentlessness, I think it will push everyone

01:57else to be great, and we're looking forward to having him help us compete for a championship.

02:02Hopefully late June, we can be back where we were a couple years ago.
