09:17we were able to learn how to use EMG sensors and machine learning to control the bionic prosthetic arm.

09:26Our target is below the elbow.

09:28So that there is a muscle that can be extracted from the amputee.

09:32One major problem with prosthetic devices is the lack of feedback from users.

09:39Because they don't feel if they are holding an object.

09:45So we implemented that on every finger that has a force sensor.

09:50Then it will vibrate if the object you are holding is strong.

09:55In the amount of Php 50,000 to Php 70,000,

09:58the bionic prosthetic arm can already reach

10:01if compared to the usual cosmetic and body powered prosthetics,

10:05which are Php 500,000 to Php 1,000,000 each.

10:10No wonder the project was recognized as a best thesis,

10:16Our invention started with the EMG sensor because it uses electromyography technology.

10:25This EMG sensor picks up muscle activity or muscle signal from the person wearing it.
