00:00Let's start with Inter-Miami, congratulations to Lionel Messi, Busquets, Luis Suarez.
00:08After winning League's Cup last year, they get their first supporter shield.
00:12So they're basically the superlideres, the big dogs in MLS.
00:15There's a team to beat, Francisco, without a doubt.
00:18We had an exciting double matchday this week on MLS.
00:22We'll be talking also about Liga MX, LAFC coming up, Columbus, Miami.
00:29Things are getting really tight, Messi, the libero again, his brace secured the win, Miami
00:34sitting comfortably at the top with 68 points.
00:38They might break the record from LAFC.
00:39It's crazy.
00:40And you know what?
00:41I've been fortunate enough to call some of Evander's great goals with Portland.
00:45Some of them look like Roberto Carlos bending the ball over the wall, but Lionel Messi just
00:50keeps on overshowing.
00:51He's Lionel Messi.
00:53And even then again, Evander might be an MVP candidate, Denis Buanga might be an MVP candidate,
00:58but it just looks like it's Lionel Messi and the rest of the bunch, right?
01:02It is.
01:03It is.
01:04Well, you know, I don't want to discount Columbus because they will be a contendant for the
01:08MLS Cup.
01:09Miami will still have to go through them to get to the championship.
01:13And I think in the playoffs, there'll be a completely different team.
01:16Yeah.
01:17And we talk about the supporters shielding again.
01:18This is a trophy that's awarded to the team that gets more points during the regular season.
01:23Inter-Miami already secures home and field advantage for the final.
01:27So if they make it all the way, the final will be played in sunny South Florida or Lauderdale
01:33to be exact.
01:34Hopefully, Stata today will be there, enjoying the sun rays and the goals.
01:39We're going to move on to the next game.
01:40Which one do you want to talk about?
01:41I would love to talk LAFC, just because back in 2018, I was able to hold that supporters
01:46shield victory.
01:47I looked like Captain America, big disc.
01:50It's heavy.
01:51But you know what?
01:52LAFC, look, I mean, they didn't really do much.
01:54I think St. Louis, even though I was expecting more from them, they did not get to offer
01:58much in terms of attacking in the midfield against LAFC.
02:02But you know what?
02:03What I'm happy about?
02:04An amazing goal from Danny Buanga.
02:05He's 19th out of the season.
02:07He just keeps on impressing everyone.
02:08You know, several weeks of a really bad form, come back with the first U.S. Cup that the
02:13team wins.
02:15Then they come back with back-to-back wins this week.
02:18I think LAFC is starting to get their pieces together.
02:22Let's talk about the return of the king, Carlos Vela.
02:25He's due to come back, hopefully, and I'm guessing that they're working their way up
02:29for him to be a superstar on the playoffs, which will make LAFC really good.
02:33Yeah, hopefully by the end of the season.
02:35It's been nine months, obviously, in terms of the lineup for Carlos Vela.
02:38But you know what?
02:39There's another team that's low-key looking really dangerous.
02:41LA Galaxy is going toe-to-toe with LAFC.
02:46I mean, the dream matchup would be the LA teams facing off in the Western Conference
02:50Finals.
02:51So Galaxy got a huge victory against Colorado.
02:54They did it on the road.
02:55And with that said, they have a six-point advantage over LAFC.
02:58LAFC still has nine points left to play.
03:02They got an pending game against Vancouver that was moved after the U.S. Open Cup.
03:07So I don't know, man.
03:08It looks like Galaxy will take it all.
03:10Galaxy needs to drop points so LAFC can jump into that first seed.
03:15And the only thing that is left is just for LAFC to continue winning those games that
03:20it has on hand, trying to hope for a tie or a loss from Galaxy.
03:28I am confident that we still can get that top spot.
03:30It's going to be an exciting two weeks on our way to Decision Day.
