Israeli helicopter fires missiles into Lebanon as hostilities with Hezbollah escalate

More than 250,000 Syrians and 82,000 Lebanese have fled across the border into Syria during the past two weeks to escape escalating hostilities between Israel and Hezbollah in Lebanon.

00:00An Israeli attack helicopter has been seen firing missiles into southern Lebanon.
00:07That comes on the same day the IDF carried out another series of overnight strikes on
00:12Beirut's southern suburbs.
00:14The Israeli military said it targeted Hezbollah's Central Intelligence Headquarters around midnight.
00:20It didn't say who it was aiming for, but claimed to have killed 100 Hezbollah fighters in the
00:25last 24 hours.
00:27Around 1,400 Lebanese have been killed and some 1.2 million driven from their homes since
00:33Israel ramped up its aerial campaign in September.
00:37Meanwhile, the U.S. military struck several Houthi targets in Yemen, going after weapons
00:44systems, bases and other equipment belonging to the Iranian-backed rebels.
00:49According to Houthi media, seven strikes hit the airport in the major port city of Hodeidah
00:54and the Kataib area, which has a Houthi-controlled military base.
00:58The strikes come just days after the Houthis, who are allied with Hezbollah and Hamas, threatened
01:03escalating military operations targeting Israel.
