00:00Yeah, we had a tough start. It's nice to get a couple of wins under our belt. I think we're

00:13learning a lot. It's a big learning process. But we are getting better week on week. There's

00:19going to be a couple more tough challenges over the next couple of weeks coming up, but

00:23I think that couple of wins sets us up nicely just for a bit of confidence and a bit of

00:27boost in morale for that group.

00:29You mentioned it, you knew it was going to be tough at the start. You've got a fresh

00:32group of players coming together. It always takes time for them to gel. But some of those

00:35teams you did face early on were some of the better teams in this league, weren't they?

00:40Yeah, I mean you look at some of the results and I don't think all have lost a game yet.

00:44We pushed them close first game 3-2. We went to solid a little bit after and lost 6-1.

00:50But was it a 6-1 game? Not really. And they're notorious for being good at home. So you look

00:57at Blackburn, they're pretty stacked in terms of lines. And we had Hull again here and again.

01:02The scoreline probably didn't reflect the game as much as it should have done. But it

01:05was a good outing I think. And I think it was a good test for us to find where we are

01:09in that league against some of that better opposition and know that we can compete a

01:12little bit.

01:13I was going to say, now you've got a couple of wins under your belt, both against Windsor

01:16as I say. Now you've got one at home as well. Is it a case of that confidence will just

01:20start to come? And have you noticed that on the pitch?

01:22I think it's a bit of that monkey off the back scenario. But yeah, you can see boys

01:27are getting better week on week, certainly in practice as well as games. We knew it was

01:32going to be a big learning curve. We're a new group and some players have not played

01:35this level before even. So it's going to take time. But I think from my point of view and

01:41from a bigger point of view, Ryan and Steve, I think it's going in the right direction

01:45as to where we want to be.

01:47This team isn't necessarily, in these early days, winning titles or anything like that.

01:52It's about development, isn't it?

01:53No, we need to compete and we want to compete in that league. Obviously, we'd like to be

01:58there about some terms and positions and things like that. But it's not the be all and end

02:02all. The main focus on this team for us is getting some of that local talent through

02:07and getting it up to this Knights team and trying to keep them squads quite young and

02:11get them experience when they're young at that senior level.
