00:00:00That's one of my best friends, Emily.
00:00:02She loves the simple things in life
00:00:04and has the biggest heart of anyone I know.
00:00:09And she's getting married to a great guy, Chris.
00:00:12They're one of those couples that you just know
00:00:14are supposed to be together.
00:00:19Ashley is the smartest one of us.
00:00:214.0 GPA, class president, crazy confident.
00:00:25She knows exactly what she wants
00:00:27and won't let anyone stand in her way.
00:00:29Especially college boys.
00:00:32I'm pretty sure she'll be a CEO one day.
00:00:36And then there's me.
00:00:38I don't know how to describe myself.
00:00:40I just want to be happy.
00:00:43This is my Josh.
00:00:45He's six foot two with big blue eyes,
00:00:48a beautiful smile and a bright future.
00:00:52These are my girls
00:00:54and we're standing on the launch pad of life together.
00:01:00Dad, what are you doing?
00:01:02I was looking for you.
00:01:04I just don't like crowds.
00:01:07Well, look at you in your suit.
00:01:09All those moms are totally checking you out.
00:01:11Yeah, spiffy, huh?
00:01:14I love you.
00:01:16I love you, too.
00:01:18And I'm so proud of you.
00:01:21Your mom would be, too.
00:01:24She'd be the one up there screaming her head off
00:01:26when they called your name,
00:01:28all those obnoxious air horns.
00:01:34I miss her, too.
00:01:37Jessica! Let's go!
00:01:40Hey, go be with your friends.
00:01:42No, I'm staying here with you.
00:01:43Go on, I'll be fine.
00:01:44Are you sure?
00:01:47All right.
00:01:48Well, I'll see you tomorrow at lunch, yeah?
00:01:50Deal.
00:01:51I love you.
00:01:52I love you, too.
00:01:53Okay.
00:01:59Yes!
00:02:08The best four years of our lives.
00:02:10May there be many more.
00:02:12And to the best friends anyone could ask for.
00:02:14I love you guys.
00:02:15You guys are great.
00:02:20Incredible four years. I'll never forget.
00:02:22Me either.
00:02:23Well, that's because you two are sentimental saps.
00:02:25No, better a sap than a cynic.
00:02:27You are the one that wanted me to sing the class song.
00:02:30I can't wait to get out of here.
00:02:32Ashley, come on. Admit it.
00:02:33You're going to miss this.
00:02:34Just a little bit.
00:02:35Not a bit.
00:02:36I mean, all she ever really did was study.
00:02:38And intimidate all the boys.
00:02:40And my work here is done.
00:02:43Hey, Cruz.
00:02:44Let's go get a drink.
00:02:45What?
00:02:46Come on.
00:02:47Okay.
00:02:51Well, we know what that is about.
00:02:54What is the word, ladies?
00:02:57A new chapter begins.
00:03:00Did you take that job in Lexington?
00:03:01Winestone Marketing.
00:03:03Ooh, the big leagues.
00:03:05Are you excited?
00:03:06Of course.
00:03:07It's the job of a lifetime.
00:03:11Do you want to dance?
00:03:13I don't dance.
00:03:17I'll be back.
00:03:19What?
00:03:20Ashley.
00:03:21What is your deal?
00:03:22You should have a boyfriend.
00:03:24Yes.
00:03:25I think he's kind of cute.
00:03:26He's weird.
00:03:28And you're not.
00:03:30I didn't come to college to find a guy.
00:03:33It's good for you guys.
00:03:35Just not for me.
00:03:37What does that mean?
00:03:40We all got what we wanted out of college.
00:03:43I like you.
00:03:44I like you.
00:03:45I like you.
00:03:46I like you.
00:03:47I landed the perfect job.
00:03:49You got the perfect fiance.
00:03:51And you got into the perfect grad school.
00:03:54And found a great guy.
00:03:55Yeah, well, whatever.
00:03:57Ashley, why don't you like him?
00:03:59I like him.
00:04:01I just don't like him for you.
00:04:03Okay.
00:04:04What does that mean?
00:04:05Let's not talk about that.
00:04:06Well, we all know you're getting a ring tonight.
00:04:09I know that.
00:04:11I'm so excited for you.
00:04:13Congrats, Jess.
00:04:14If you're happy, I'm happy.
00:04:17Here he comes.
00:04:19So, after the female mates with the male,
00:04:22she eats him.
00:04:26Hey, Jess.
00:04:27Can we take a walk?
00:04:28Sure.
00:04:31Really?
00:04:32Praying mantis.
00:04:34Yeah, I got it.
00:04:47You know how I feel about you.
00:04:49We've been together for...
00:04:51Three years.
00:04:52Yeah.
00:04:53You're such an awesome girl.
00:04:58There's so much that I want to say.
00:05:02That I should say.
00:05:05But I've thought about this for a long time.
00:05:10I think we should take some time apart.
00:05:12What?
00:05:14I just need some time for me.
00:05:17I don't understand.
00:05:19Did I do something wrong?
00:05:21No, you didn't do anything.
00:05:23Look, Bo and Mark and some other people
00:05:28are backpacking across Europe this summer
00:05:30and they invited me to come.
00:05:31Why didn't you tell me about this?
00:05:33I'm telling you now.
00:05:35When are you coming back?
00:05:37I don't know.
00:05:39At the end of summer?
00:05:40It depends.
00:05:41Depends on what, Josh?
00:05:43Depends on when we're ready.
00:05:46This is not about you.
00:05:48It's me.
00:05:51I can't breathe.
00:05:53You can't breathe?
00:05:55What?
00:05:56What does that mean?
00:05:58Maybe there's something else he needs to focus on right now.
00:06:01Like what?
00:06:02His job, career.
00:06:04Career.
00:06:05He's working for his rich daddy.
00:06:07That's another girl.
00:06:09Really?
00:06:10No.
00:06:11Hey.
00:06:12It's probably something that has nothing to do with you.
00:06:15Really?
00:06:16He's breaking up with you.
00:06:17We're not breaking up.
00:06:19Come on.
00:06:20I can't breathe means there's another girl.
00:06:24Really?
00:06:25He's a coward.
00:06:26Maybe this is a good thing.
00:06:28How is this good?
00:06:29You can focus on yourself.
00:06:31I don't want to focus on myself.
00:06:33You're a strong, independent woman.
00:06:36And the second you get to Baylor,
00:06:37you're going to forget all about him.
00:06:39You're going to see all the cute guys
00:06:43and the beautiful campus
00:06:45and you're going to get all the classes you want.
00:06:48Everything's going to be perfect.
00:06:50Am I right?
00:06:55No.
00:06:57You didn't.
00:07:01I told Baylor I wasn't coming last week.
00:07:04Are you kidding?
00:07:05What were you thinking?
00:07:07I was thinking I was going to be home planning a wedding.
00:07:09That's what I was thinking.
00:07:10You gave up your future for a guy.
00:07:13I know.
00:07:14Okay?
00:07:15I know.
00:07:16I know.
00:07:17I know.
00:07:26Okay, stop.
00:07:27Just stop.
00:07:28I can't watch you anymore.
00:07:31I know what you're going to do.
00:07:34You're going to stay with us.
00:07:37After the wedding, you can have my room.
00:07:39It's perfect, really.
00:07:40I'm going to need a roommate anyways.
00:07:42Yeah, what do you say?
00:07:43I can't do that, guys.
00:07:44You can help plan my wedding.
00:07:45I can't do that.
00:07:46I have to go home.
00:07:47Come on, it'll be fine.
00:07:48You're moving in with us
00:07:50and you're getting your life together.
00:07:56And that is enough chocolate for you.
00:08:01Now what?
00:08:02I don't know.
00:08:05Well, Emily and Ashley,
00:08:07they said I could move in with them,
00:08:09so I was thinking...
00:08:10I think you need to come back home.
00:08:12See, regroup yourself, find your footing.
00:08:14I can't.
00:08:16Well, you can't stay here waiting on that boy.
00:08:18Dad, he's not even going to be here.
00:08:20He's an idiot.
00:08:23Just come on home.
00:08:24You can save some money.
00:08:26I can't.
00:08:28It'd be like admitting defeat.
00:08:30It's not defeat to regroup.
00:08:32Look, we can work out the grad school thing.
00:08:37Okay.
00:08:39You have to make your own decisions.
00:08:43Okay, just don't go chasing that boy.
00:08:44Dad, I'm not.
00:08:46Okay?
00:08:48Now are you going to give me my graduation present or not?
00:08:51Changing the subject.
00:08:56Wrapping's a little rough.
00:08:58It looks great. I love it.
00:09:08I had the stone from your mama's ring reset for you.
00:09:14Go ahead, put it on.
00:09:19Dad.
00:09:28Something else.
00:09:30Dad, you did not have to give me anything else.
00:09:32The necklace is more than enough.
00:09:35Well, it's not from me.
00:09:38It's from your mom.
00:09:40She wrapped it and put it in the back of the closet.
00:09:45And she told me to give it to you when you graduated from college, so...
00:09:50What is it?
00:09:52I don't know.
00:09:55Is he going to open it?
00:09:59I don't know.
00:10:15You have to open it. It's from your mom.
00:10:19So, what do you think's in it?
00:10:22I have no idea.
00:10:25What are you afraid of?
00:10:27I don't know. I...
00:10:29I remember my mom in a very specific way.
00:10:33I mean...
00:10:34I want that to change.
00:10:36I guess I'd be a little nervous, too.
00:10:38Okay, but what if what's in the box makes all the memories better?
00:10:46No, I...
00:10:47I mean, look at that sunset!
00:10:51Come on, you have to open it!
00:10:54I'm not ready.
00:10:56It's not Pandora's box. It's your mom.
00:11:01What if whatever's in that box changes everything?
00:11:21I love you.
00:11:51I love you, too.
00:12:21Waitress?
00:12:23Waitress.
00:12:25Dog walker.
00:12:26You know 73% of college grads can't find a job in their field of study.
00:12:30We're supposed to be encouraging her.
00:12:33That is encouraging for her.
00:12:35There's nothing in the paper.
00:12:37Keep looking. You'll find something.
00:12:39Try a temp agency.
00:12:41It's a good place to get a job when you aren't qualified for anything.
00:12:45Thanks.
00:12:47Really? That's not a bad idea.
00:12:49Okay.

00:13:25Oh, okay.
00:13:26And I'm gonna teach you.
00:13:28It is a science.
00:13:30I may not know anything about dating,
00:13:33but I know everything about business.
00:13:36No, I just, I just need a job.
00:13:38I don't want you making the same mistakes that most people make.
00:13:41Like what?
00:13:42People are chatty.
00:13:44So try not to talk too much.
00:13:46And you're gonna want to lean forward slightly
00:13:48and keep eye contact at all times.
00:13:51What?
00:13:52Keep eye contact.
00:13:54Very important.
00:13:56Shows your confidence and your power.
00:13:59Yeah, and that you could be a serial killer.
00:14:02Alright, let's just try it.
00:14:04Just like you're being interviewed.
00:14:06What do you want me to do?
00:14:08Well, sit up.
00:14:09Sit up and move your hands.
00:14:12And now lean in just a little.
00:14:15Stop.
00:14:16Okay.
00:14:17Now when they ask you a question,
00:14:19you, hey, you always respond with,
00:14:22that's a very interesting question.
00:14:25Yeah?
00:14:26Now relax.
00:14:28You're a woman. You're confident.
00:14:30Yeah, but sit up.
00:14:31Look me in the eye and lean forward.
00:14:34Hey, eye contact.
00:14:36Now when they ask you a question,
00:14:38you always repeat the question before you respond.
00:14:41Shows you're a good listener
00:14:43and gives you time to respond appropriately.
00:14:46Okay, let's try it.
00:14:48Hey, focus. Eye contact.
00:14:51Now, what are your thoughts on women in leadership?
00:14:59What are my...
00:15:00No!
00:15:01That's a very interesting question.
00:15:03That's a very interesting question.
00:15:05What are my thoughts on women in leadership?
00:15:11You have to answer the question.
00:15:13Okay, that's enough.
00:15:15You're gonna make her more nervous.
00:15:16Look, I know what I'm talking about.
00:15:18Just be yourself. You'll be fine.
00:15:24What? What's wrong?
00:15:25Chris's mom wants me to meet her at her florist.
00:15:28Ugh.
00:15:31Can somebody please go with me?
00:15:33Emily, when are you going to stand up to her?
00:15:35I already have.
00:15:37Okay, where's Chris? Why can't he go?
00:15:39He's going, but I need one of you guys to go too.
00:15:43No, this is your wedding and you have to stand up to her.
00:15:47She plays mind tricks, okay?
00:15:50She makes me believe it's what I want.
00:15:52Flowers you want?
00:15:53My florist, you must go.
00:15:57No, really, I'm serious.
00:15:59Look, you have to stand up to her
00:16:01or she is going to walk all over you forever.
00:16:03I know.
00:16:04She is your mother-in-law.
00:16:06You cannot be afraid of her.
00:16:08Ugh, that is easier said than done.
00:16:26Bye.
00:16:27Your first timer.
00:16:28Yeah.
00:16:29Yeah, there's nothing to worry about.
00:16:31It's super easy and awesome.
00:16:34Just go over to the computers,
00:16:36you pick out the job that you want,
00:16:38you go in for the interview,
00:16:39and bam, you get a job.
00:16:42Like yesterday, I was working inspecting coffins, right?
00:16:48I lay down to like a hundred of those things throughout the day, you know?
00:16:51And at five bucks a pop,
00:16:53that's more than minimum wage for a week, right?
00:16:57Or like last week, I was working down at the aquarium.
00:17:00I was helping them separate the live fish from the dead fish.
00:17:02The smell was terrible, but the pay was fantastic, right?
00:17:06I was really getting into it, too.
00:17:07It was nuts.
00:17:08I was slinging those dead fish into their bucket.
00:17:10All the other guys in the room are going,
00:17:12whoa, slow down, man.
00:17:14This guy's a beast.
00:17:16This guy's a beast.
00:17:18So, do they list any normal jobs or just...
00:17:20Oh, yeah, I have a degree in theoretical nuclear physics.
00:17:23I got a couple of those jobs.
00:17:24But the best part is, it's the adventure.
00:17:26I've never known what you're going to find, you know?
00:17:28Mr. Winkleheimer, there's a computer ready for you.
00:17:31It's my turn.
00:17:36Bam! You get a job.
00:17:55Ashley, I'm so sorry to keep you waiting.
00:17:58It's so good to see you again.
00:18:00We're so glad to have you join our team.
00:18:01Well, I cannot wait to get started.
00:18:03Good, that's what I like to hear.
00:18:04This is Diane.
00:18:05Hi, nice to meet you.
00:18:06Hello.
00:18:07Have a seat.
00:18:08I was telling Diane last week how lucky we are to have snatched you up.
00:18:12Oh.
00:18:13I told her that you remind me of me at your age.
00:18:16Thank you, ma'am.
00:18:18This is my dream job, and I just want to learn about the business.
00:18:22And work my way up as quickly as possible.
00:18:24Perfect.
00:18:25Diane, you better watch out.
00:18:26This one's a real go-getter.
00:18:28Yes, I know.
00:18:29Did I tell you that she was first in her class?
00:18:31Yes, ma'am. I believe you did.
00:18:32Well, okay.
00:18:33Ashley, you'll be working with Diane.
00:18:35She will show you the ropes, take very good care of you.
00:18:38Unfortunately, we have a client call that both she and I need to jump on.
00:18:41But Diane will show you around once we get finished with the call.
00:18:44Sounds great.
00:18:45Would you like to look at a pitch presentation while you're waiting?
00:18:47Yes.
00:18:49Are you waiting?
00:18:50Yes.
00:18:52This is amazing.
00:18:54Fantastic.
00:18:55Thank you so much again for this opportunity.
00:18:59The pleasure is ours.
00:19:00And if you need anything, my door is always open.
00:19:04Yes, ma'am.
00:19:05Follow me.
00:19:08That's why I'm leaning toward the orchids.
00:19:10You just don't see these every day.
00:19:12That seems like a lot of orchids.
00:19:15They probably couldn't find that many.
00:19:18Of course.
00:19:19Tiffy!
00:19:21Tiffy, do you think that we could do the whole church in orchids?
00:19:24Oh, honey, if that's what you want, we will make it happen.
00:19:27Even if we have to bring in the orchids from all over the country.
00:19:30That sounds expensive.
00:19:32Well, you've got expensive taste, dear.
00:19:34Let's do this one.
00:19:36Excellent choice.
00:19:37I'll work it out.
00:19:38Great.
00:19:42Hey.
00:19:43Sorry I'm late.
00:19:44Hi.
00:19:45Good to see you.
00:19:46So, did you all make some progress?
00:19:48Absolutely.
00:19:49Great.
00:19:50Did you talk to the caterer?
00:19:51Oh, yes.
00:19:52Pierre, he's going to deliver a spectacular sit-down dinner,
00:19:56and our guests will have plenty of choices.
00:19:58Fully staffed, of course.
00:20:00Great.
00:20:01And he's got the date available, which means it's a miracle.
00:20:04We really just wanted a little...
00:20:05And the flowers.
00:20:06Tiffy's going to take care of the flowers, okay?
00:20:08So she says the orchids are going to be absolutely fabulous.
00:20:11Chris and I want things to be simple.
00:20:13Of course you do.
00:20:15She is just so practical and so smart.
00:20:18This is just too much.
00:20:22Well, of course.
00:20:25I understand.
00:20:27Thank you, Beverly.
00:20:29But I just can't help myself.
00:20:31So Leonard and I are going to pay for everything.
00:20:34Really?
00:20:35Mom, are you sure?
00:20:36That'd be great.
00:20:37Absolutely.
00:20:38It would be our pleasure.
00:20:39We can't let you do that.
00:20:40That's it.
00:20:41There's no more discussion about it.
00:20:42It's settled.
00:20:43I'll pay for the flowers, and Pierre's got that spectacular menu.
00:20:46Great.
00:20:47I promise, it'll be perfect.
00:20:52Miss Miller, what jobs were you interested in looking at today?
00:20:58Oh, um...
00:21:00Um, Macmillan and Schneid.
00:21:03Oh, Macmillan and Schneid.
00:21:06Now, I'm going to ask you a series of questions,
00:21:09and I want you to look right here into the camera,
00:21:11as honestly as possible, alright?
00:21:17Now, if you were a tree, what kind of tree would you be?
00:21:25That's an interesting question.
00:21:27If I were a tree, what type of tree would I be?
00:21:32Okay, I'm sorry.
00:21:34Is this for the filing job?
00:21:36Yes, yes it is.
00:21:38You know, any kind of tree at all.
00:21:40Oak, apple, maple, maybe?
00:21:48Moving on.
00:21:50Sorry.
00:21:51If you were a cheeseburger, what part of a cheeseburger would you be?
00:21:59That's another interesting question.
00:22:01Thank you for asking.
00:22:02If I were a part of a cheeseburger...
00:22:08I'd be the lettuce.
00:22:09The lettuce?
00:22:10Yes.
00:22:12Why would you be the lettuce?
00:22:15Why?
00:22:19Um, because the lettuce...
00:22:22You know, I'm not...
00:22:24I'm not quite sure what the purpose of the lettuce is.
00:22:27It doesn't really have much taste.
00:22:29It's green, and I love green.
00:22:33I think we should all go green.
00:22:36Miss Miller.
00:22:39What?
00:22:40You seem like a very nice girl.
00:22:44Very, very sweet girl.
00:22:47But you're not ready for all of this, you know?
00:22:51Maybe you can come back again and aim a little bit lower.
00:22:58Well, what happened to...
00:23:01Everybody gets a job!
00:23:03New jobs every day, new opportunities every day.
00:23:08Come back again tomorrow.
00:23:11Next!
00:23:16Ready?
00:23:17Absolutely.
00:23:20This is the file room.
00:23:22All the contracts, invoices, deal memos, pitch plans,
00:23:26everything from 2001 to 2010 is contained in these boxes.
00:23:30We need to convert everything from paper to digital files.
00:23:34So your assignment is to manage that conversion.
00:23:37Great!
00:23:38How do I do that?
00:23:39Well, I'll show you how.
00:23:41I'll show you how.
00:23:42I'll show you how.
00:23:43I'll show you how.
00:23:44I'll show you how.
00:23:45I'll show you how.
00:23:46You can manage that conversion.
00:23:47Great!
00:23:48How do I do that?
00:23:49You open the file, take out every piece of paper,
00:23:52and scan it to the server.
00:23:54You said I was managing the conversion.
00:23:57Who am I going to be working with?
00:23:59No one.
00:24:01I think Ms. Brockman wanted me-
00:24:03She said you work for me.
00:24:05This is the assignment.
00:24:06Do we have a problem?
00:24:09No.
00:24:10Good.
00:24:11Start with 2001.
00:24:16♪♪♪
00:24:26♪♪♪
00:24:32Gracie? Jessica?
00:24:34Chocolate, it's good for the soul.
00:25:04Hi, um, I think you must have grabbed my drink by accident.
00:25:24There are no accidents, honey. Only the Lord's will.
00:25:30Uh, would you, uh, care to join me?
00:25:34Um, I'm actually, uh, I'm looking at papers and stuff right now.
00:25:38Tough job marking, huh?
00:25:40Yeah.
00:25:42Did you just graduate?
00:25:44Is it that obvious?
00:25:46You've got that, uh, panicky look that I don't see in a lot of young people nowadays.
00:25:50Would you, uh, please sit? Just for a moment. Just, just for a moment.
00:25:57Okay.
00:26:00I'm Gracie.
00:26:02Uh, hi, I'm, um...
00:26:03Jessica.
00:26:06Thanks.
00:26:08So, what kind of job are you looking for?
00:26:13I don't know, um, not really qualified for anything, so...
00:26:17That's nonsense.
00:26:19Getting your college degree is a wonderful thing.
00:26:22It, it shows that you have commitment and that, and that you can see things through to the end.
00:26:29I guess.
00:26:31As luck would have it, I am in need of an assistant.
00:26:36Now, it wouldn't be anything long term, but it would give you something while you're looking for a permanent job.
00:26:43That's really sweet of you, but, um...
00:26:45And you'd be helping out a crazy old woman.
00:26:51You're not that old, Shirley.
00:26:54So you're saying that I'm crazy?
00:26:56No, that's not what I was saying.
00:26:59I know. I'm just kidding.
00:27:01Okay.
00:27:02I'm just kidding.
00:27:03Oh, and this is my son Tyler. Tyler, this is Jessica.
00:27:07Nice to meet you.
00:27:08Nice to meet you.
00:27:09Did you renew my tax?
00:27:11Yes, Mama, I did, but I don't know why you want to pay that money. You don't even drive.
00:27:16No, I don't drive anymore.
00:27:18However, I do like having my own car.
00:27:21One never knows when one might have need of it.
00:27:25Alright, well, I gotta get you home and get back to work.
00:27:28Jessica, here's my phone number and my address.
00:27:35Why don't you, um, stop by tomorrow?
00:27:39Maybe around nine.
00:27:41And, and just take a look around.
00:27:43If you like it, you've got a job.
00:27:46And if you don't, I'll send you home with a good cup of coffee.
00:27:53It was nice to meet you.
00:27:54Me too.
00:27:56Let's go.
00:28:14Uh, hey, how did it go with Carissa's mom?
00:28:23That good, huh?
00:28:36Okay.
00:28:38Jess, this place is a wreck.
00:28:52I've bought all my interviews. Thanks for asking.
00:29:08The Queen and Princess
00:29:24The beautiful queen and her princess daughter were inside the magnificent palace,
00:29:28baking cookies together and singing songs.
00:29:31Like best friends do.
00:29:34The queen turned to the princess and said,
00:29:37One day a handsome prince will come along and offer to make you his queen.
00:29:42Then you will travel to a faraway land and be the caretaker of a great people.
00:29:47The princess looked at the queen and said,
00:29:50I don't believe I can do it.
00:29:52The queen smiled her special smile and said,
00:29:55Of course you can, my darling. You are just like me.
00:30:00No, mother, said the princess. I could never leave you.
00:30:04We will be together forever.
00:30:06The queen looked at her with a happy smile and said,
00:30:09We will always be together in our hearts.
00:30:12The queen hugged her like she would never let her go.
00:30:20What? You don't like it?
00:30:26I love you.
00:30:29You are such a beautiful writer.
00:30:31You like it?
00:30:32I love it.
00:30:59Hey, this is Josh.
00:31:01If it's a dire emergency, leave a message.
00:31:03If not, just leave.
00:31:07Hi, it's me.
00:31:09Um, yeah, you must have fallen asleep last night.
00:31:12That's fine.
00:31:14You're probably on the plane right now.
00:31:16I just wanted to say I hope you have a safe flight.
00:31:19And you can text me when you land.
00:31:22I'll see you later.
00:31:24Bye.
00:31:29Bye.
00:31:30I love you.
00:31:32Give him some time. He'll come around.
00:31:35He doesn't deserve you.
00:31:37What is that?
00:31:39What do you think?
00:31:41I think Hillary Clinton wants her suit back.
00:31:43Whatever. I'm trying to make a statement.
00:31:46I'm a professional woman.
00:31:48Mission accomplished.
00:31:52I wasn't made first in my class to be copy girl.
00:31:59Ew. Who made this?
00:32:01I did.
00:32:02I thought you said you knew how to make coffee.
00:32:04How hard can it be?
00:32:06Whatever.
00:32:08Don't let Chris' mother walk all over you.
00:32:10Remember, this is your wedding.
00:32:13Right.
00:32:14And you.
00:32:15Get out of this funk.
00:32:17I want my best friend back.
00:32:19We're still on for lunch, right?
00:32:20I'll be there.
00:32:21Me too.
00:32:29I love you.
00:32:31I love you too.
00:32:33Well, hello, young lady.
00:32:59You're not quitting already, are you?
00:33:01No, ma'am.
00:33:02No, let's not start with that yes, ma'am or no, ma'am nonsense.
00:33:05Just Gracie.
00:33:07Come on in.
00:33:28My son's idea.
00:33:30Seems to forget things sometimes.
00:33:33Oh, that's a good one.
00:33:35Look.
00:33:37Put it right there.
00:33:40Who are you?
00:33:42Oh, um.
00:33:43Just kidding.
00:33:44Not really.
00:33:45Sometimes I may actually do that to you.
00:33:48What was your major?
00:33:49Ancient languages.
00:33:51What would you do with that?
00:33:54Well, I...
00:33:56Hey, how about let's have some coffee, huh?
00:33:59Okay.
00:34:03You're a beautiful young woman.
00:34:05I'll bet you take after your mother.
00:34:08I don't know.
00:34:09I like to think so.
00:34:11Do you spend a lot of time with her?
00:34:14No.
00:34:16My mom died when I was nine, actually.
00:34:19Oh, honey.
00:34:21Well, I'm so sorry.
00:34:23It's a horrible age to lose your mom.
00:34:26Yeah.
00:34:27I lost mine, too, when I was a very young girl.
00:34:31It's nothing like a mother's love.
00:34:33No, ma'am.
00:34:35I mean, Gracie.
00:34:37Sorry.
00:34:39For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord.
00:34:42Plans to prosper you and not to harm you.
00:34:45Plans to give you hope and build a future.
00:34:49Jeremiah 29 11.
00:34:51Can't hear too much of that nowadays.
00:34:54God watches over his children.
00:34:59You've got the job.
00:35:01If you want it.
00:35:03I do. Thank you.
00:35:04Don't thank me yet.
00:35:06You don't know what it is.
00:35:11Are you coming?
00:35:14Yeah.
00:35:25It's filthy up here.
00:35:28I love old attics.
00:35:30Yeah, there's a lot of memories up here.
00:35:34A ton of memories.
00:35:36Sure looks like it.
00:35:38I've lived in this house for 45 years.
00:35:41The last ten have been by myself since my wretched past.
00:35:45But I've got to tell you something.
00:35:49The last ten have been by myself since my wretched past.
00:35:52But I've got to get this place organized.
00:35:56Now there's some clothing that's scattered about that I want to get boxed up for Goodwill.
00:36:01Okay. No problem.
00:36:03And I'm looking for something in the house, but I believe it's up here.
00:36:10What is it?
00:36:14I don't know.
00:36:18It was something that my son gave to me a long time ago, but for the life of me, I can't remember what it was.
00:36:27But it sounds crazy, but I've got to find it.
00:36:34But I just can't get up and down in here the way I used to.
00:36:38So, can you start tomorrow?
00:36:44Yes.
00:36:46Good. Tomorrow then.
00:36:49So, what's the big surprise?
00:36:51I got a job.
00:36:52What? That's great.
00:36:54I told you. Eye contact is the secret.
00:36:57What is it?
00:36:58I'm helping this lady organize her house.
00:37:01Nice.
00:37:02Yeah, she's this really sweet lady. She has an awesome spirit about her.
00:37:06I really like her.
00:37:08Well, at least one of us likes our job.
00:37:10I spent all morning in a cave feeding documents into a scanner.
00:37:14Just paying your dues.
00:37:15This woman, Diane, she's my supervisor. She's just intimidated by me.
00:37:20Maybe you should talk to her.
00:37:22Maybe they're just testing you.
00:37:24No, the owner likes me and knows that I know what I'm talking about.
00:37:27Take her a gift.
00:37:28Maybe you should just do the job.
00:37:31Wait, what did you say?
00:37:33Like a gift. Take her something.
00:37:35What, flowers? That's weird.
00:37:39I don't know.
00:37:40Ms. Brotman gave me the presentation for this Hawaiian travel site
00:37:44and I tried pitching my ideas to Diane and she just threatened by me.
00:37:51Why don't you take her macadamia nuts?
00:37:53Yeah, like Hawaii macadamia nuts.
00:37:57No.
00:37:58Yeah.
00:37:59That sounds not professional.
00:38:01I don't know. It might be worth a try.
00:38:06I have to get back to work.
00:38:09Wait, who's going to help me with Chris's mom?
00:38:11She's meeting me here to talk about cakes.
00:38:13I thought your mom was making the cake.
00:38:14Exactly.
00:38:15The Bluegrass Baking Company.
00:38:17It is fabulous.
00:38:19They do all of the biggest events in the city.
00:38:21Look, three tiers on either side with bridges and a fountain.
00:38:27Oh, and look at this.
00:38:28Wow.
00:38:29Elegant, but oh, just fabulous.
00:38:30It's actually really incredible.
00:38:32Beverly, my mom agreed to have the wedding here instead of at home,
00:38:36but she really wants to make the cake.
00:38:38She's an amazing cook.
00:38:40Oh, honey, we don't want to burden her with that.
00:38:42I'm sure we can find something just as special right here.
00:38:46And don't you worry about the cost.
00:38:48Is this even real?
00:38:49Is that real?
00:38:50I'm honest.
00:38:51That looks fake.
00:38:52It is.
00:38:53It's so terrific.
00:38:54I am totally using this place.
00:38:55But making the cake is my mom's way of being a part of it.
00:38:58She can't do more.
00:39:00Oh, I know, sweetie.
00:39:01And we are just so fortunate to be able to help you.
00:39:04And we're happy to do it.
00:39:05And I know your mother wants the very best for you and Chris.
00:39:07So do I.
00:39:08I've just never seen anything so beautiful.
00:39:09It's not incredible.
00:39:10Look, this was at the governor's birthday.
00:39:12Oh, and then there's another one right here that you can just imagine this.
00:39:16I'm going to use this place.
00:39:17Isn't it great?
00:39:18It's art.
00:39:19It's art.
00:39:20It's fabulous.
00:39:27Knock, knock.
00:39:29Oh, Ashley.
00:39:30I was hoping we could talk for a minute if you have time.
00:39:35See, I think we got off on the wrong foot.
00:39:39How do you mean?
00:39:40I know, I know converting the documents is really important.
00:39:44But I was just hoping maybe we could work together on the Hawaii project.
00:39:49I've been churning some ideas that I think would supplement yours really well.
00:39:53And so as a peace offering and in the spirit of collaboration, I got you a gift.
00:40:05Macadamia nuts from Hawaii.
00:40:10Is this a joke?
00:40:12No.
00:40:14I'm allergic to nuts.
00:40:16I would go into anaphylactic shock if I even touched one of those things.
00:40:21Your assignment is to complete the scanning.
00:40:24That is the job.
00:40:26Unless you want me to tell Ms. Brockman that you were refusing to do the task assigned to you,
00:40:30I suggest that you get that off my desk, march back downstairs, and get back to work.
00:40:36Yes, ma'am.
00:40:38I wasn't refusing.
00:40:39The only sound I want to hear is your footsteps walking away.
00:40:50Okay.
00:41:20Okay.
00:41:41Gorgeous.
00:41:42Gorgeous, darling.
00:41:51Jessica, it's time for a break.
00:41:53Um, okay.
00:41:55I'll be right there.
00:42:20I'll be right there.
00:42:51This was my Richard's favorite spot.
00:42:55I still come here to sit,
00:42:58to remember,
00:43:00to pray.
00:43:03It's beautiful.
00:43:07So,
00:43:09Ms. Jessica,
00:43:11what are you doing working for me?
00:43:15I'm helping you get organized.
00:43:17But what are you waiting for?

01:11:51And that's how you know it's love.
01:11:55And finally, chocolate.
01:11:59It's good for the soul. It's good for the hurt. It's good for the pain.
01:12:06And sometimes, it's good for the heart.
01:12:10It's good for the heart. It's good for the pain.
01:12:14And sometimes, it's just plain good.
01:12:18To live a life full of what God has in store for you.
01:12:23Find the chocolate.
01:12:28I love you.
01:12:40Find the chocolate.
01:13:01I know what she's looking for.
01:13:11Oh, yeah. Let's see.
01:13:26Sweetheart, what are you doing here?
01:13:30Uh, I came over last night, Mama.
01:13:34Is everything okay? Jessica?
01:13:41Oh, did I? Did I?
01:13:45You did, Mama. Um, Jessica found you.
01:13:54Chocolate is good for the soul.
01:13:58Is this what you've been looking for?
01:14:02Oh.
01:14:05A kiss.
01:14:08A kiss.
01:14:11For Mama.
01:14:14I forgot about that thing.
01:14:17My friends, they used to laugh at me because of that.
01:14:21And your daddy would say?
01:14:25If they laugh at you, you look them straight in the eye, and you say,
01:14:30Don't you love your Mama?
01:14:33Don't you love your Mama?
01:14:43The memories that God gives us
01:14:48are our most precious possessions.
01:15:00Oh.
01:15:21No matter, I will never forget you.
01:15:25I will never forget you.
01:15:28I love you.
01:15:31Somebody once said, one joy can scatter a hundred griefs.
01:15:35I think that's what my mom wanted me to understand.
01:15:45There you are. We've been out looking for you all night.
01:15:49We called the hospitals, the police, the fire department, everyone.
01:15:52I'm sorry.
01:15:54You opened the box?
01:15:57Are you okay?
01:15:59Yes.
01:16:01It's great.
01:16:03We're sorry about last night.
01:16:05You have to stay.
01:16:08I'm sorry, too. I don't want to go.
01:16:11Good. Because you're not going anywhere.
01:16:16She gave you her journals?
01:16:19And a video.
01:16:21What?
01:16:22Can we watch?
01:16:23Of course.
01:16:24We want to see the woman that made our best friend.
01:16:26Okay.
01:16:30Is this the letter?
01:16:32Oh my gosh, I'm so excited.
01:16:34It's really great.
01:16:37She looks beautiful.
01:16:42Alright.
01:16:45You've got your headband on, I've got my linen shades.
01:16:54Every day is a gift that should be treasured.
01:16:58And filled with as much love and joy as humanly possible.
01:17:08By the power vested in me, I now pronounce you man and wife.
01:17:14Oh, you may kiss the bride.
01:17:24What?
01:17:35Look at her.
01:17:37Things have a way of working out.
01:17:39You just have to have a little faith.
01:17:54Dance with me.
01:18:08You look great.
01:18:09Would you want to get together after this?
01:18:12What happened to Monica?
01:18:14Monica was a mistake.
01:18:16Yes. Yes, she was.
01:18:24Congratulations.
01:18:28It's not easy stepping into anything new.
01:18:30Whether it's high school, college, or the real world.
01:18:34No matter how much you prepare yourself, so many things happen that are out of your control.
01:18:39It's easy to become paralyzed with fear of the unknown.
01:18:43It's easy to get lost.
01:18:46Fear and faith are two sides of the same coin.
01:18:49Whichever one you focus on is the one that will dominate your life.
01:18:53So, walk with your eyes wide open.
01:18:57Walk in faith and be who God created you to be.
01:19:01Love with reckless abandon.
01:19:05Oh, and don't forget the chocolate.
01:19:08Always find the chocolate.
01:19:23Love with reckless abandon.
