Brian Mitchell & J.P. Finlay react to the Washington Commanders dominate win over the Cleveland Browns.
Transcript
00:00have seen Jaden over the last few games, complete 86, 91% of his passes. I mean, these historic
00:07completion percentages, that wasn't the game yesterday. I got to talk to Luke McCaffrey
00:11after the game and he explained the difference, like what Jaden can do when teams play zone
00:16and he can just sit back and pick them apart versus when they play man is you're going
00:20to have more in completions, but then you're going to have the big plays that follow.
00:23So yeah, definitely. And I, I think you saw that. Um, I thought, I think by a mile and
00:32people have to take this the wrong way by a mile to me, the most encouraging thing from
00:37yesterday that there's a, it's a, it's a list, right? But the most encouraging thing from
00:43yesterday is they were the better team and they went out and kicked the other team's
00:48ass.
00:49And it was a complete effort, offense, defense, special teams. It was, it was a dominant performance
00:54against a bad team or a team that's broken. Whatever you want to call Cleveland. When
00:58you look at it, this team is growing week by week and you hear Joe Whit talking a lot.
01:05You hear Cliff talking, you hear, uh, Dan talking and they say what, what, what they
01:10expect and what they think. And that, and you can see those things coming. Although
01:16they're four and one, they still haven't played a perfect game. Not, not even a perfect
01:19game, a overall game with both all three phases, just go on and do whatever they say is their
01:25best performance so far. Probably Cincy, maybe Arizona. Uh, I, I probably would go with yesterday
01:35over all of them. See, you look at defense was, okay. And yes, you'd be Joe, but it couldn't
01:42get us to look at it. Cincinnati, not super great defensively, but yesterday, no, he didn't
01:49have the high percentage, complete, uh, completion or percentage, but no one expected it to be
01:5380, 90 every week. I don't expect it. It happens and you're, you're thrilled by it, but there
01:59were big plays that came and, and the way they hit stuff when they needed to hit it,
02:05defense was completely dominant.
02:06Dominant. You know what I mean? And so we, we were talking about the, uh, never ordinary
02:13player and I pick Frankie that dude lost his mind yesterday, bro. And listen, I, you know,
02:20I like energetic people. I don't like the people that, that, you know, listen, you go
02:24out there and you just move it around. You do know you make no play with it. I care less
02:28about you. But if you're a player where you can come out with energy and you play like
02:32that, I love that because what he does is ignite the rest of the guys around him.
02:37I mean, he finishes the game with seven tackles, two and a half sacks for the fumble recovery.
02:42Wagner was a bad-ass too. Yeah. It's really interesting watching the two of them because
02:47Frankie is super low key off the field in the locker room. Just like very chill on the
02:56field. And then if you saw the postgame locker room video that they, that the team posted,
03:01he is clearly a super intense, uh, motivator. Right. And then Wagner is kind of low key
03:09at all times, but just an absolute bad Wagner says nothing right there is art month.
