Police appeal for assistance to look for Troy

Police spoke on October 8, 2024 to appeal for public assistance to help locate missing Dennington former policeman Troy.

00:05He's got a loving partner and family in Warrnambool.

00:08Yeah, we would really love him to come back.

00:22And the reason we're here today is to talk about the investigation

00:26into missing person Troy, who went missing from his home address

00:31in Dennington on Saturday morning, the 5th of October 2024

00:37at approximately 3.20am.

00:41We believe that Troy left his home address in his vehicle,

00:46which is a black Mitsubishi Triton.

00:49Registration is WDO032.

00:55From there, we're not sure where Troy has gone

00:59and we're appealing for public assistance to help locate Troy

01:04and locate his vehicle.

01:07I'll open that up to questions at this time.

01:15Yeah, so the investigation is in its early stages at the moment.

01:20So there is an investigation team canvassing through CCTV as we speak

01:26and following up other avenues of inquiry.

01:36Yeah, so that is a consideration of ours.

01:40We have deployed our drone in a few different areas at the moment

01:47and we're hoping to get Air Wing out in the coming days.

02:00At this point in time, it's only in the Warrnambool area.

02:04Our information suggests that when Troy left his home address,

02:11he's turned right into Harrington Road

02:14and then right into Coghlan's Road, Warrnambool,

02:17and then we're still making inquiries where he's moved from there.
