Andy Reid praised the toughness and professionalism of the Chiefs' locker room after they improved to 5-0 this season
Transcript
00:00I thought both all three phases did a nice job tonight starting with the O-line
00:06and D-line. They both put a lot of pressure on the quarterback and took
00:12the pressure off the quarterback and we ran the ball well. So my hat goes off to
00:16those guys.
00:21Yeah, so these guys, you get tired of me saying it, but they don't flinch on all
00:26that stuff. They just, the next guy up and he goes. And so I'm proud of them for
00:32that. There's an attitude in the locker room that those guys, it has to
00:35start with that group there. I think it's a credit to not only the guys, I mean and
00:40how hard they work, but Coach Reed and just knowing their skill sets and how to
00:43put them in great positions. And I mean Kareem just runs extremely hard. He gets
00:48every yard out there, catches the ball, does whatever it takes in order to go
00:51out there and win. And then Juju, even when he wasn't getting as many reps, he
00:55was in the playbook, he was learning the things that he had lost over one year.
00:58But I mean, y'all saw him two years ago. I mean, he fits in well in this offense.
01:02And so he did a great job today.
01:04Patrick, what was your view on Travis' lateral, how that unfolded?
01:10I mean, I'm shaking my head because I told him before the playoffs, and I'm gonna throw it to you so he can get in the field goal range.
01:15And he shot, he underhand shoveled it across the entire field. So I mean, it's
01:20like, it's like I'm talking to like Sterling. So it's like, it's like, it's
01:25no, it was, that's Travis, man. He's a special player, and as long as he
01:30does anything, it works, man. No one's gonna say anything.
