00:05Yeah, so Amrit joined me for Walk 48 a few days ago, after previously never meeting him.
00:12And he joined me for three hours, so he was inspired to help Dementia UK himself and he
00:18wanted to donate to the cause.
00:20So he's walking 5,000 steps in his playground with his school, he's already raised over
00:25£1,700.

01:08OK Manny, is it your Manny as well?
01:09I am, is that I?
01:10So you're Amrit's mum.
01:11I am.
01:12And how do you feel?
01:13You must be very proud.
01:14I am indeed, especially when he wanted to do it himself after being so inspired by Manny.
01:18Absolutely.
01:19Has he ever done anything like this before?
01:20Well, charity runs in the family, we try and instil that giving, you know, it's part
01:25of the Sikh ethos as well, you know, always giving a tenth of your earnings, time and
01:30everything else that you possibly can.
01:31It's a great thing to do at his age as well, it's incredible.
01:35I think it's inspiring young minds and souls and, you know, they've got the flame there,
01:40it's just to engulf it even brighter.
01:41Absolutely.
01:42Yeah, I bet he was excited.
01:43He was really excited.
01:44I think, oh money, he calls him charity uncle and he was like, I can't wait for him to come
01:50to the school because he was just so inspired at the Molyneux, so yeah, amazing.
01:54Well he's very admirable, he's a fantastic lad anyway.
01:58You know, maybe the journey begins now, you know, and with every step and he's done absolutely
02:02fantastically well.
02:03Yeah.
02:04The last time we looked it was £1,800 that he raised, that's without the cakes and biscuits
02:10and samosas.
02:11That's amazing.
02:12Does this remind me how old he is again?
02:13Five years old.
02:14That's unbelievable.
02:15And I just want to say thank you to Manny for, you know, really encouraging him and
02:17the sponsors as well, you know, the people who come together and sponsored us as well,
02:22so yeah.
