00:00I'm absolutely delighted to have topped the MP poll and this stage of the contest and I need to
00:06thank all those people who supported me, especially those who are out campaigning and all my volunteers.
00:11It shows that people have a lot of faith in my approach which is about renewal and I need to
00:16talk about everything. We need to talk about the system which I think is broken. I think Labour
00:21are having problems because they're working with a broken system and we need to adapt. We need to
00:25change our economy. Let's get some more money so that we can spend it on defence. Let's get more
00:29people out to work. Let's talk about the NHS. It can't just be about one little part of immigration
00:34policy. It is time to go bold. Just because you're not a first preference doesn't mean that people
00:39don't want you and I think that that is what has happened throughout the contest. You could say
00:43that about any candidate. People have relationships, people have friends, they have constituency
00:47neighbours. These things feed into the MP stage of the contest. What matters now is what our members think.
