The U.S. Department of Justice is considering asking a federal judge to force Google to sell parts of its business to reduce its online search monopoly. In a court filing, prosecutors also suggested that Google's search data and AI technology could be opened to competitors. The department is weighing structural changes to prevent Google from leveraging products like its Chrome browser, Android, or AI tools to boost its search dominance.
