Lisa Marie Presley Kept Late Son's Body at Home, The Office Star Jenna Fischer Reveals Breast Cancer Battle, Limp Bizkit Sues UMG For Unpaid Royalties

Lisa Marie Presley shares in memoir why she kept late son's body at home for 2 months. It was a devastating loss for Lisa Maria Presley when her only son Benjamin Keough died at the early age of 27 in 2020. In Presley's new memoir From Here to the Great Unknown which was finished by her daughter Riley Keough, she writes that her son was 'in the house with us instead of keeping him at the morgue.' Keough explains how her mom needed ample time to say goodbye. The room where he stayed had to be kept at 55 degrees and he was there for about 2 months. Presley and her son are buried at Graceland along with her father. The Office star Jenna Fischer reveals she is now cancer free after secret year-long battle with breast cancer. She's best known for her role as Pam Beesly from The Office but now she's also a cancer survivor. In December, 2023 Fischer was diagnosed with Stage 1 triple-positive breast cancer after a routine screening which found something in her left breast. She had a lumpectomy to remove the tumor, 12 rounds of chemotherapy and three weeks of radiation. She is now cancer free and since October is breast cancer awareness month, Fischer took to Instagram to share her story and remind all to get their annual mammograms, 'Take it from Pam and her Pam Pams.' Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst sues Universal Music Group for $200 million in unpaid royalties. The lawsuit states that UMG 'deliberately designed' a policy to conceal royalties from artists and keep the profits for themselves. The lawsuit is also seeking compensation for other artists who worked with the record label through Durst's Flawless Records as well. Limp Bizkit has sold over 45 million records and have more than 450 streams on Spotify so far this year. Durst and his bandmates were told by UMG they still need to recoup the $43 million in advances given to the band before they start seeing royalties. Durst's filing indicates that UMG owes Limp Bizkit as much as $200 million and demands sole ownership of the copyrights to their music. National Moldy Cheese Day is celebrated.
