00:00this out. Lauren, you know, we were yesterday 133 tornado warnings from
00:04this storm now continues to the rain moving its way on shore. What's the
00:08latest that you're seeing from the newsroom? And just about 10 minutes ago,
00:10we're constantly getting these new images coming in and I saw a big crane
00:14that fell onto the interstate down in Florida. So it just goes to show you
00:17those powerful winds are extremely destructive. And this hour Hurricane
00:20Milton's destruction, leaving more than three million homes and businesses
00:24without power. ST Petersburg residents also no longer without water in their
00:28household. We're learning that that water main break led the city to shut
00:31down service. Now, other cities pounded with winds over 100 MPH. Take a look
00:37right here. Video shows the Hurricane Milton destroying the roof of
00:40Tropicana Field Stadium, home of the Tampa Bay Rays. You can see pieces of
00:44the fiberglass roof flapping in the wind, exposing stadium lights. Now,
00:49high winds, flooding rain and storm surge continue to pelt the state this
00:53morning. Already, there are reports of deaths, injuries and extensive property
00:57damage after tornadoes swept through parts of the state ahead of Milton's
01:01arrival.
01:05And speaking of that damage, we want to take you now to a gas station
01:07destroyed in ST lucie County. You can see power lines down and intense winds
01:12mangled areas all across southern florida. This is one of those areas
01:16where officials are reporting multiple deaths last night. Florida's governor
01:19also saying it was too late for people who need to heed those earlier
01:24warnings. It's too dangerous to evacuate safely. Uh, so you have to
01:29shelter in place and just hunker down. We take this stuff serious and we live
01:34in a flood zone
01:37closer to the gulf coast in Port Richey. Residents like Bill, who you
01:41just heard from right there and their pets took shelter in a middle school
01:44gym. Right now, Milton is moving across the florida peninsula and nearing the
01:49Atlantic Ocean. But of course, guys, we're gonna be staying on top of these
01:51new developments over the next several hours.
