00:00Well Secretary General, you're very welcome here. It's so good to have you so early in
00:12your tenure. We are proud supporters, strong supporters of NATO, and I think we've obviously
00:19just been with President Zelensky. If the Ukraine conflict shows us one thing, it's
00:23that NATO is as important today as it was on the day it was founded, and so we are strong
00:31supporters, want to work with our allies, and it is so good to have you here for discussions
00:35today, so you're very welcome.
00:36Thank you so much for the warm welcome, and I couldn't agree more. It was a great opportunity
00:41to have the trilateral with Volodymyr Zelensky, but let me also say that the UK plays a crucial
00:47role within NATO. You have been above the famous 2% already before 2014, and in those
00:55days it was only three countries, Greece, the US, and the UK, and luckily now we are
00:59standing at 23 countries above the 3%, but also what you were doing in terms of Ukraine
01:04itself, the training, the military aid going in, and finally let me say that within NATO
01:09the unique capabilities you are delivering to NATO, including the nuclear deterrence,
01:16is crucial. I really want to thank you for that and for the friendship and the warm welcome.
01:20No, it's good, and I thought the summit in Washington earlier in the year was the strongest
01:26we've had in difficult circumstances, so very, very good.
