Rest home row over flower vase leads to police intervention

Police were called to intervene in a row between OAPs at an old folks home - over a vase of flowers.

The officers visited a retirement housing estate in Exminster, Devon, following a complaint of aggressive behaviour.

The incident happened after a war of words broke out about a vase of flowers in the communal hallway - which another resident said were a fire risk and posed a threat to others in the block.

00:00Hello my love. Hello my darling. Alright? Yeah? I hate doing this. That, um, vase. I know. What's wrong with it? I know, it's a fire thing.
00:15Hang on a minute. In fact, I don't know, it's got nothing to do with it. It's got nothing to do with it.
00:28It's got nothing to do with it. Well, it depends what it's about whether we've got anything to do with it. What is it about?
00:33It's fine, it's just we're trying to work out what's going on. About what? We might be able to help you. We all live here.
00:38Right, okay. Um, so, the guy's here. Yeah. He's placing, he's in breach of fire regulation. Yeah.
00:45This has been backed up by Lucinda Walsh. This has also been backed up by Mel Robinson. Okay.
00:51Um, these people have an attitude where they will not abide by any part of the conditions of living conditions because Tom has got an attitude. Okay.
01:01Tom is under, he's under misrepresentation that he thinks he can put anything on his door because he believes in free speech. As we know, he loves free speech.
01:12Nothing wrong with freedom of speech, officer, is there? None whatsoever. Um, as I said, sir, the complaint isn't with these two people. Yeah, I know, so that's why I'm...
01:19The complaint is with the guy that's probably drunk high and drunk, basically. Okay. So, are these staff aware of all of this?
01:25Yeah, well, they are more than aware of this. Are they having any in at the moment? Well, I understand that, um, that PC Walsh is going to take a restraint order against Tom.
01:34Like his wife did. Do you know why he was in court? I don't even remember. No, but when you find out, you'll see the full truth. Anyway.
01:43What truth was this then? Coercive behaviour, do you remember that? No, no, no, they're doing so good. Do you know what coercive behaviour is?
01:49Of course he does, he got done for it. It's exactly what you're doing here. Coercive behaviour. Listen to them. Listen to them talk and do it. Yeah.
01:56Could you take that out of my face, please, sir? I'm in a public area, I can record what I want. These gentlemen know that.
02:04I hope you've got all those other videos about kicking tables and everything. I've got all of it. Good.
02:10I don't miss much, mate. I do record most of it. You'll work out that restraint eventually.
02:16So this is what it's come to now. Look at this, Cindy, he's actually got the police now for having the vase of flowers removed.
02:23Apparently they're meant to be a fire risk, that's why Bill complained about them having them removed.
