Sweeping tidal mudflats turn a vivid red, offset by the green reeds and winding blue rivers, in Liaoning Province, northeast China.

It’s like a landscape from the creation of science fiction. The nature reserve reserve covers 800 square kilometers and home to 494 species of wild animals.
