00:00According to Edward Grinan, all great stories are love stories.
00:07Love of family, love of partner, love of country, love of God.
00:14Love is the universal cosmic, all-encompassing ultimate theme.
00:19It is important to learn from failure because it brings us one step closer to reaching success.
00:24From the Greek to the soaps, we are always trying to figure out love, why it makes us
00:28happy or crazy or brave or compassionate.
00:31So many of the qualities that make us human are fed by love.
00:36Here is an inspirational story from Grinan that could picture out two faces of sacrifices.
00:42One from the past of the main character.
00:45And the other one for his desire to help his fellow men.
00:57There are people who say love can move mountains.
01:00This might not be physically possible.
01:04But Dushruth Manji, who also known as the mountain man, came quite close.
01:13In one day of his life, his wife fell while crossing a nearby hill and hurt herself seriously.
01:21She needed quick medical assistance, but not wasn't possible due to the hill that isolated
01:25their small village from the next town.
01:28Tragically enough, his wife died from the serious injuries before Dushruth could do
01:32anything about it.
01:35The mountain man, he's an Indian laborer Dushruth Manji.
01:39It was the night when Dushruth Manji decided to carve a small path through the mountain
01:43in order to give his village easier access to medical assistance.
01:48It was an ambitious plan and he was heavily ridiculed for it.
01:52After working for 22 years with the greatest determination and willpower, a path was carved
01:57into the hill.
02:00Even though he was initially mocked and ridiculed for his mission to give his hometown easier
02:04access to the nearby town, he finally succeeded.
02:09His life's work helped to reduce the distance between the two towns from 55 kilometers to
02:13only 15 kilometers, so that never again such a thing would happen.
02:19Meanwhile, according to Better Up, failure hurts.
02:24It doesn't make us feel good, it can put our perfectionism to the test, it can be difficult
02:28to pick ourselves up to try again.
02:31Oftentimes, our failures are motivators.
02:34It is important to learn from failure because it brings us one step closer to reaching success.
02:39And according to Offsoup Kitchen, on the other hand, if there is one true thing about life,
02:45it is that everyone is suffering.
02:47Without trials, life would be boring.
02:49It keeps us grounded and reminds us of our humanity.
02:52With each trial we surpass, we grow and become better persons.
02:58But trials do not just toughen our connection with God.
03:01It is also a foundational to help others who are struggling encounters of their own.
03:06Perhaps, the sad experience of the main character of that story reminds us that in every failure,
03:11that catastrophe would be our best learning.
