49ers proud of 'grimy' win against Seahawks

Kittle, Purdy and Shanahan believe that the 49ers' win against the Seahawks is a 'step in the right direction'

00:00We made it grimy, yes.

00:02Well, I mean, technically, they made it grimy.

00:03Like, what a response.

00:05You know, we score a touchdown, go up 23 to 3.

00:08And then they go right down with a kickoff return for a touchdown.

00:11We don't do that on offense.

00:13They go down the skin and score what, like a 90, was it 90, 95-yard drive?

00:17I think all that does is reiterate that winning in the NFL is really difficult.

00:21It doesn't matter who you play, anybody can win on any given Sunday.

00:24Great movie.

00:25Every opportunity we step out on the field, man, we wanna do that.

00:27We wanna get better and prove to ourselves that we're gonna play at the standard that

00:31we need to play at and that we're capable of playing at.

00:34And so tonight was another opportunity.

00:35It was a Thursday night game and a great team in the Seahawks, great environment.

00:40And so for us to come out and just do our job, do it well, and be efficient, I thought

00:45for all of us it was, like I said, the right step in the right direction.

00:49You know that we're sick about those two losses that we had.

00:52And we know, you know, I talk about some losses are harder than others.

00:56When you feel like you had those won, especially division games, that's made us sick about it.

01:01And it was just staying locked in, not trying to get any negative feelings, and

01:04just trying to do it one play at a time.

01:07We try to keep our team that way, but

01:08it's not like I talk to a bunch of people right then.

01:10So just call them plays and stuff, you just, you don't try to think that way.

01:14Our goal is to be locked in the entire game regardless of what the score was.

01:18And I thought the guys played like that.
