Unveiling of purple poppy coat on the War Horse, which commemorates the 353 soldiers from Featherstone who were killed in the First World War. The idea for the coat came from Bev Alderson, founding member and former Trustee of Murphy’s Army.
She's been working hard on it ever since.
Coat has just short of 4,000 poppies including 353 red poppies for the soldiers who died.
Featherstone Town Council is holding a short service to mark the occasion.
