00:00We're happy to see you tonight. How are you doing?
00:02Uh, day by day, you know, it's tough, you know, divorce isn't easy, but I'm okay.
00:09You've had some challenges, you're going through a little bit of a...
00:12A lot, yeah, yeah, but you know, the most important thing is our son,
00:17and that's all that really matters. Brittany and I will be fine,
00:20you know, divorce is divorce, we'll be okay.
00:22And you know, I know you just completed a rehab,
00:24why was that so important for you and all of those challenges?
00:27My mental health, it took a beating, you know, divorce is like a death, you know,
00:33and my mental health just really, I needed to check in, I just really did,
00:36I was just kind of spiraling, to be honest, so yeah.
00:39I mean, you seem amazing, honestly.
00:41Yeah, it really did, it was an amazing thing, I'm so glad I did it,
00:44I got a lot of help that I needed, got a lot of tools that I needed,
00:47came out feeling so much better, and yeah, I feel good.
00:50And I know you guys just wrapped season two,
00:53how was it filming with Brittany, how's the dynamic like between you two now?
00:57Like I said, it's day by day, you know, there's good days and there's bad days,
01:01but filming was, I'll tell you this, it was, in the 12 years I've been on TV,
01:06this was by far the hardest I've ever, the hardest for me I've ever filmed,
01:10yeah, just because of everything that's going on, you know,
01:16like my mental health and, you know, my divorce and it being so public,
01:20you know, it's tough, you know.
01:22How are you two maintaining co-parenting and keeping a united front on for Cruise?
01:28We're just doing, like I said, we're very, very good in front of him, you know,
01:33it's been okay so far, there's no problems yet, but it's very new, so yeah.
01:39Would you ever, what are you looking for in your next partner?
01:44I'm not even thinking about that right now, no, all I care about is my son,
01:47all I care about is hanging out with him, being healthy, being in the right frame of mind,
01:53yeah, that's it, you know, I haven't been on my own in 10 years,
01:56so this is a new thing for me and it's like, it's scary,
02:00so I'm just kind of getting used to it, you know, I just bought a new townhouse and
02:05so I'm just kind of trying to figure it all out.
02:07Wow, day by day, honestly, and you are a reality, you're an icon, truly,
02:12and we're celebrating all things reality TV, looking back,
02:15how would you say your evolution has emerged?
02:18It's gone like this, you know, it's gone up and down, up and down, up and down,
02:23like I said, this last season was, I didn't know this was going to happen, it took a turn,
02:26you never know, with Vanderbilt rules in the house, in the valley,
02:29you never know what you're going to get, that's why these shows are so successful,
02:31because you just can't write the stuff that we do,
02:34and like going in, I did not know this was going to happen, so like I said,
02:38it's going to be a very, very emotional, you know, up and down season, it really, really is.
02:45I mean, I'm eager to see, definitely.
02:47Yeah, it's going to be tough, I'm very, very nervous, I'm very worried,
02:52how I'm going to come across, because there were some very dark moments for me,
02:55very, very dark, so we'll see.
02:59Yeah, I think by the time that it airs, I'll, you know, I'll be past it, so we'll see, we'll see.
03:05Is there anything specific that you're doing day to day for your mental health now, and how are you?
03:10You know, I have an addictive personality, so the gym is my best friend,
03:14but I just like, you know, I journal a lot,
03:16I do a lot of things that I just check in with myself, and I check in with my therapist, and
03:22you know, put myself in positive situations, instead of like the negative ones that I did,
03:27I try to stay away from the bar as much as I can, even though I own one.
03:30I love your bar.
03:31Yeah, thank you, thank you.
03:32We're about to open another one, I'm very excited about that, so yeah, I mean,
03:37I just try to be positive as I can, you know, get a lot of sleep, and try to be as healthy as I can.
03:41You have a lot going on, you have exciting things, that's good, stay positive.
03:45Did you know, I mean, the Valley's amazing, did you know Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift
03:49are huge fans, what's your reaction to that?
03:51I'm nervous, I mean, that's amazing, but the fact that like this seat is going to be tough,
03:55I don't know how much hate I'm going to get from it, but that's awesome, I mean,
03:59that's just, it's an amazing thing, you know, we worked really hard on the Valley, you know,
04:03I had this idea a couple years ago, and brought it to, you know, to our guy Alex, and here we are,
04:11you know, two, three, three years later, here we are, so yeah.
04:13Coming from VPR, now that this, it's incredible.
04:15Took a little bit of a break during COVID, and then, you know, I was ready to be back on TV, so yeah.
04:20You need to be on TV, and what it, you know, VPR is kind of taking a pause right now,
04:25is there any chance we're going to see it come back, what's the status?
04:28I don't know, I don't know, I don't know what's going on with VPR, I think, personally,
04:31I think it'd be cool if they did a final farewell, like they did, and brought everyone back,
04:35that's what I think, I don't know, it'd be kind of cool to see everybody, Stassi,
04:39Kristen, myself, you know, everybody back in there, the original OG gang,
04:43I think that'd be a lot of fun, but it's up to them, I don't know, who knows.
