00:00Your OG status, I've seen you lent the olive branch to Eminem this year after you guys
00:09helped kick off the 2024 Rap Wars.
00:12I just congratulated him, he's on my page, Benzino is a legend on my Instagram.
00:17I just felt like I had to congratulate him, he's a new grandfather and I had to congratulate
00:20him.
00:21I'm glad you brought it up because at 59 years old, enough is enough, like come on, listen.
00:27I have four children and three of them are able to have, I haven't, I'm not a grandfather
00:31yet.
00:32The irony is that he did say nobody wanted to hear their grandpa rap.
00:36Oh, on the Dishonored You, on Nell McCartney.
00:39Yeah, Nell McCartney, on Nell McCartney, he did say that and it's funny because after
00:42all these years I'm saying, man, wouldn't it be something if he was a grandfather before
00:48me?
00:49I swear I used to think that and lo and behold, but you know, this is a moment of joy and
00:56I'm glad I have this platform.
00:57I want to congratulate him again on being a grandfather and his daughter, Hailey.
01:02You know, Eminem has touched a lot of people, our situation back and forth, I just want
01:08everybody to know it's hip-hop.
01:10It doesn't necessarily, battling in hip-hop has been since day one, okay?
01:15And I don't want people to think that I wish any harm on him or any bad intentions streetwise.
01:21But what people got to realize, his fans, they're pretty, they're not your average hip-hop
01:28fans.
01:29Well, I kind of feel like Eminem feels the same way about you, like he doesn't respond
01:34to a lot of rappers that diss him, but you know, he gives you the time of day, you know,
01:39make sure he mix and masters the song before he pushes them out.
01:43It feels like there's a kind of like a admired respect in the disrespect.
01:48Well, you know, I would like to think that, but I would one day, my wish one day is for
01:54us to really sit down and have a real conversation and actually show it.
01:59And it's not for clout or anything, it's just that I think that with him being white, me
02:04being black, I think he would just do so much just for the cultures.
02:10Because what people got to realize is that hip-hop has brought white and black people
02:15and cultures of all ethnicities together more than religion, more than anything.
02:20And if I could ever get that moment with him, I think that would be such a good, not only
02:26for me, because I really want, at this point, I really want to be this guy's friend, man.
02:32I don't want to be this enemy no more.
02:34I don't want to be this perceived enemy.
02:35I just don't want it anymore.
02:37I don't.
02:38It's been too long.
02:39And I just feel like I'm at the age where I want to lead by example.
02:43In my example, I'm going to lead for my kids.
02:47This last beef we had with the rap Elvis and everything, okay, let's let that, and that's
02:52it.
02:53You know what I'm saying?
02:54You're a grandfather now, and enjoy that.
02:57And I just think that, man, I think at this point, especially with all the craziness going
03:01on in hip-hop, we need these olive branches, and we need these peaceful moments.
03:06Because these kids, unfortunately, listen, and this is their daily regimen, and man,
03:12all this negativity, and all this low frequency, it's not good, man, for the youth.
03:17And at this point, if I could just really turn things around, that's what I want to
03:20do.
03:21Lit.
03:22Lit.
03:23Yeah, it's been a long time coming with you guys.
03:25So even though the beef was entertaining, you know, a lot of diss songs this year, and
03:30you guys-
03:31It's entertaining, but for me, it's a headache, because I constantly am getting, you know,
03:36my social media is constantly being bombarded with evilness and hate, and it's not that
03:42serious, man.
03:43I don't get up thinking about Eminem, you know, about, urgh, no, man, I know he's an
03:49amazing artist, he's left his legacy.
03:52At this point, he's 55, I'm 59, like, come on, we gotta, we're older now.
03:57I don't want to say old, because I'm in great shape, and I feel great.
04:01But at this point, there has to be other elements of your life that have to show your maturity.
04:07And that's what I'm trying to do.
