00:00So Natalie we're here at Frankly Farm Tours and you've been open for a while
00:04as kind of a bit of a specialist attraction haven't you? We have yes so
00:08we've been open for about two and a half years now we started with the alpacas
00:12and then at Christmas we got the cows and then we started doing experiences
00:17with them from Easter along with all of our sheep as well. Yeah and then you've
00:21got the beautiful alpacas that the cows are quite special aren't they they're
00:25quite small ones yeah absolutely so our cows are called Dexters and they are the
00:30smallest cows in Europe so not only have we got the smallest sheep we've got the
00:34smallest cows as well. That's fantastic but now you open even more fully-fledged open
00:41farm attraction that's right isn't it? We are so from Monday we opened on Mondays
00:45and Fridays as an open farm as well as the weekends so people can just come and
00:49experience the peace and quiet and then get up close and personal with the
00:53animals as well so the alpacas, the sheep, our cows and the ducks and the
00:58chickens and then we've also got a small animal bar where at the minute we've got
01:01guinea pigs and a little chicken there and we're hopeful to get rabbits in the
01:05future. That's great so what was your background then? Were you raised in
01:10Shropshire? Where you from? No so I'm originally from Dunedin in Warwickshire
01:13and yeah I was a primary school teacher by trade and an assistant head for
01:17inclusion yeah I've swapped children for animals. You have haven't you? Any
01:22particular favorites on the farm yourself? So my favorites have to be the
01:26cows yeah it's been a brand new experience having two new baby calves
01:30this year as well that's been an amazing experience yeah and do people have to
01:34pre-book or can they just turn up? So for our experiences where you actually go
01:39into the paddocks with the animals mostly they are pre-booked but the open
01:43farm you can just turn up on a Monday a Friday or Saturday or a Sunday and you
01:47can just walk around the farm. Fantastic thank you ever so much and all the best
01:52down here at Frankly Farm. Thank you so much. What are you Natalie? So these are Westland sheep, they're the smallest sheep in the world and as you can see they are very friendly
02:02they are enjoying their rich tea biscuit and their little enrichment is they are
02:07halter trained so they will go on little dog leads and they go for walks around
02:11the farm and as you can see they are super super friendly.
