00:04:19everything on the white letters here is good you got my instructions in the back
00:04:23protect yourselves at all times listen to my commands touch them up back to your corner
00:04:27gentlemen final instructions for referee thomas taylor there's a qr code get involved people
00:04:34this is better be at versus bival no malice no mercy be warned this is not for the squeamish
00:04:53no
00:04:56the bell goes and here we go 12 rounds of viewer for the undisputed
00:05:06light heavyweight crown better bf in the black bival in the blue front feet almost just clashing
00:05:11there early on interested to hear the referee say that punches on the letters of the belt line
00:05:19were good for both fighters he had a close look at bival's
00:05:22belt line when he entered the ring they'll always do those final checks at every single level
00:05:43a little bit of a feeling out process early on
00:05:47he was always unlikely to be a gung-ho start matt these two are far too good far too experienced
00:05:54far too respectful of each other for that absolutely no no room for error here the
00:05:59slightest of mistake and you're going to get uh pounced on you're going to be made to pay so
00:06:04both razor sharp here switched on totally focused fainting flinching trying to see what the other
00:06:10guy's going to do try and lure them into what way they're going to react make a mistake overreach
00:06:15and then punish them so very i'll say before so it might look like there's not not a lot
00:06:20going on here but trust me there's a lot going on here they're trying to work each other out
00:06:27better be able to pecking with that jab holding the center of the ring for the most part bival
00:06:32working around him high guard keeping that tight looks to lead off with a left foot there
00:06:38what are your early impressions of this one josh i see both fighters trying to establish the jab
00:06:45gain control they're both holding the center and interestingly we haven't seen big world
00:06:50we've seen a glimpse of him going backwards and circling around but it hasn't been too much
00:06:55tells you that look he's also looking to make a stamp and you know gain control of this
00:07:04looking for the one-two stepped in behind it
00:07:09put a good combination together there whenever there's been a suggestion this week
00:07:15that he might find it difficult to stay away from the power of better be happy has answered
00:07:20quite simply that it's not going to be possible to stay away from the power he's not going to
00:07:25spend 12 rounds trying not to get landed on that's not realistic he has to back his own
00:07:31punch resistance and he feels he is more than capable of doing damage himself yeah he knows
00:07:37he can't just run away here and back get backed off he can step out of distance he can edge to
00:07:41the sides but he can't get run around the ring
00:07:57very good finish to the first round there for the v3 bibble
00:08:01caught better bm on the ropes backs him up near side of the ring to us and then followed it up
00:08:07and also he's backing up just punching on as he was backing up let the shots go
00:08:11walk better be one to them lovely good well-timed accurate shots
00:08:28yeah coming forward there you see the way bibble got spun off the rope got back into the center
00:08:34of the ring and then landed got caught with the right hand but landed a three-punch combination
00:08:37himself you see both men landing there both guys happy to exchange to punch when the other guy
00:08:46punches there's a lovely jab right hand from bibble has better be of advanced in that initial
00:08:54exchange they both landed juddering right hands i thought the second one that got through from
00:08:59didn't quite land in the end i think uh glancing forearm blow was all the materialized there but
00:09:05it was a good finish to the round and this is heating up quick
00:09:19see both men so sharp
00:09:22the other guy just cannot afford to make a mistake if they do they're going to get punished
00:09:27that's what this is isn't it josh it's uh again absolute fractions it is one like matt said
00:09:34you can't afford to make a mistake man um for me the first one i give it to bibble
00:09:40and it seemed a lot more busier but listen this is this is nothing strange from the turbo
00:09:46it's a 12-round fight for him we know all he needs is one shot
00:09:50oh
00:09:56look at you really turn over that right hand didn't quite have the distance
00:10:00correct that time better be able with those cute feet just pulled himself slightly out of distance
00:10:06good feet better be able to also keep the hands nice and high as well so even the
00:10:09if they do reach or get that bit closer he just catches them on his gloves and the forearms
00:10:20guys
00:10:23both landing with jabs
00:10:26before leading off with the left hook but the right club was where it needed to be there for
00:10:30better be out yeah a couple of times people's tried that but each time better be i've had that
00:10:34right hand nice and high protecting the cheek nice job to the body from bival
00:10:50so
00:10:55just popping up that lead left back to be out trying to gauge the range hasn't really committed
00:11:02to a right hand in this round just yet but he's marshalling bival around the ring
00:11:08bivalvo taking a step back into the center maybe
00:11:11realizing that he was dancing to better be able to tune a little bit there
00:11:16better be so clever and so patient as long as he's making bival
00:11:23exert more energy move with more urgency than he wants to he's happy enough he just stalking him
00:11:30and i'll tell you one thing he's done that a lot better this round
00:11:33the pressure has been not a lot more but it's been a lot than it was the previous round
00:11:45closing stages of round two left hand on the move there from bival
00:12:04fight night brought to you by that prize guy in big games anything can happen so preparation is key
00:12:12anticipate the flush points analyze every detail even the height of the center backs
00:12:18only then can you predict more than eight corners
00:12:24nice one gary you can get the build
00:12:29new impact sub prepares you for those unexpected player subs by keeping your
00:12:33bet builder running for longer that's proper value from william hill
00:12:42some action from that previous round right at the end of it
00:12:54and as josh mentioned the pressure from better be of just ratcheted up in that second round he
00:13:01didn't let his hands go particularly but with that front foot he was taking that space he was
00:13:07getting a little bit closer let go with the right hand there at the start of round three and the
00:13:11start of this round quite quick pressure a lot more making more contact with the lead hand
00:13:20it's not necessarily landed on the chin but most importantly it's making contact
00:13:36people looking to go down to the body better be able to drop the forearms on that one
00:13:40a bit of fencing in this round so far they're hitting a lot of gloves forearms
00:13:44in range you're willing to completely commit better be able to stepping in behind the lead
00:13:49left hook again pivot able just to slide out of damaging range at least
00:14:10so
00:14:14pretty much got through the right hand maybe not quite so much but that's a couple of left
00:14:18hands that have found a mark in the last few seconds just getting his feet slightly closer
00:14:23there people the gloves are up for better be it but they're still registered yeah definitely
00:14:29not single shots point three and four together okay one or two maybe hits the
00:14:33three four gets through even if it's partially blocked it still gets through
00:14:43people knows it's going to be combinations but also he doesn't want to
00:14:46turn his doors and he wants to win these rounds by doing as little as possible
00:14:56mix better be able to try to call that right hand in around the back of the guard thrown from low
00:15:07both exchanging on the inside right hands
00:15:11one over the top
00:15:18short punches there but you can just see the rotation behind them
00:15:22so
00:15:38people let's go with a flurry of punches that almost came together on the inside there
00:15:44better be able to try and step on him right at the end of the round
00:15:48and sink in a right hand with a right hand over the top and then steps away to his left these are
00:15:54fascinating exchanges towards the end of the third
00:16:17so
00:16:27the momentum of coming forward and the physical pressure pushed it back as well again
00:16:32don't see another angle it's good job for better be able to better right hand counter for people
00:16:36foreign
00:16:46that's exactly it isn't it because he had a good first round there's not much in those two we've
00:16:50just seen round two and round three but as josh has been saying better bf is looking to up the
00:16:55pressure ronio sullivan looking on from ringside but before as discussed earlier in the show
00:17:04is comfortable uncomfortable which you have to be in that ring and being in the ring with better
00:17:11beer you look at his record it has to be the most uncomfortable experience you can have
00:17:17but the movement so good from big ones he doesn't really stand still for very long at all even when
00:17:21he got backed up on the ropes a couple of times he was very conscious where he was and was able to
00:17:25spin off and get back into the center of the ring hasn't really allowed better be able to pin him
00:17:31too long in the corners or on the ropes not yet anyway that's a good combination from pivoli
00:17:37landed a single jab then backed up landed another jab followed by the right hand stepped off to the
00:17:41side you have to be happy with that land that one too and then move don't stay there for counter
00:17:47coming back at you keeping better bf moving and turning as much as he can making him reset
00:17:55which is exactly what he's done there just working around that front foot
00:18:00yeah this is good for people
00:18:03great lateral movement letting the shots off one two three and it spins up again
00:18:08again make it better be of having to reset come after him
00:18:14yes
00:18:22you'd imagine the last team said to make sure that to be abuses every
00:18:26make it those 39 year old legs make sure he feels 39 in there keep him turning keep him
00:18:31reset
00:18:53yeah anytime he gets the sink one into the body you will as well he's really economical
00:18:56doesn't waste anything better here it's the final minute of round four
00:19:02it's an absorbing contest between two master practitioners
00:19:07so
00:19:26better be after shaking out those feet almost he kicks them up a little bit
00:19:30he hasn't been able to put people under the kind of pressure in round four that he was threatening
00:19:36in rounds two and three and that is the absolute credit he's had a good round here
00:19:43yeah just landing a fast two and threes then game gets out of distance
00:19:53better be able to try to let his hands go with the hands up just
00:19:57made the escape to the left hand side well four rounds in and there's not very much in this
00:20:03at all do you think josh it'll be fair to say it's two a piece maybe through the first four
00:20:07rounds it's as i said it's an absorbing fight to watch yeah it is and i think as close as the
00:20:14rounds are if bibble wins it he tends to keep the distance keeps returning and when viterbo wins he
00:20:20seems to get closer and closer with that pressure off so again it'll be interesting to see the next
00:20:24few rounds the pressure viterbo is starting to show but also bibble he's got that fluid style
00:20:31and he seems to be using it he seems letting the combinations go there people you know he's
00:20:38moving and then when he when he has to he gets kind of cornered he knows right i've got to let
00:20:42him go now in one two three fast shots straight very basic keep it simple do it well and then
00:20:48get out of distance don't be there for the counters i'm watching on
00:20:54five
00:20:59so into the fifth
00:21:05better be the holder of three belts the wbc the ibf the wbo he's in the black
00:21:12bivouac the wba champion in the blue both of these undefeated
00:21:18just as tyson fury and alexander usic were back in may when they met for undisputed
00:21:26well at home you're seeing it four nil to bivouac i would say he definitely won the first and the
00:21:30fourth the second and the third maybe not a great deal in them i would certainly have given better
00:21:35at least one of those two
00:21:46just poking with that lead left hand better be haven't been just looking to try and let the
00:21:51right hand go and you mentioned he said the word absorbing you know when you're in there
00:21:55fight someone for both of these guys keeps that high level but you know certainly when someone's
00:21:59that knockout power the concentration factor the brain power
00:22:03that can really drain the battery of the fight for one
00:22:10throwing a wide right hand there better be a v showed bivouac the exit down the
00:22:15ropes to bivouac left stepped a little bit wider than through the right hand in
00:22:21kind of like a hook and just caught into the body as he was
00:22:23trying to move off he's good at leading the door a jar better be evident slamming it shut
00:22:31but bivouac has done a very good job so far of finding the space that he's needed to
00:22:38and the punch output also that he's needed to to keep better be of honest
00:22:46that's another good combination from him there good use of the jab goes down to the body then
00:22:50up to the head
00:23:06he's trying to get those hands together in combination
00:23:10better be a but bivouac is just interrupting him when he's trying to set up with
00:23:15just some good crisp punches
00:23:34maybe has a scent in his nostrils here
00:23:44so
00:23:54oh
00:24:11leading that corner for Dimitri Pivoli's father's in there as well
00:24:14we saw him in saudi arabia in june when this fight was supposed to take place remember
00:24:24it didn't happen he got a win against Malik Zinab, Ostopich is first for quite some time
00:24:44honest and that's a good example there isn't it better be a glance
00:24:49a good jab there he's looking to move in behind it but can't because
00:24:52he walks straight onto a right hand exactly right hand left hook combo straight firing back
00:25:14and the fact that Pivoli is so experienced over the 12 rounds is worth noting because as we know
00:25:20better be has never done it that doesn't mean he can't
00:25:29but it hasn't happened due to the fact that he stopped every single one of his opponents he's
00:25:34looking to try and let that right hand go but Pivoli again just did well there the guard was up
00:25:40he rode it allowed himself just to bounce back into the ropes took the sting off it
00:25:46yeah best be of trying to target the body a bit more in this round good idea as well
00:25:49i think try and take the legs away from people a little bit get those hands down
00:26:10so
00:26:30i'm going to try and follow it up with the left foot better be able
00:26:32just gather those feet tries to close that gap a little bit quicker
00:26:36uh
00:26:53but he could well be in a situation here we're at halfway he is behind
00:26:58and that will be an unusual experience
00:27:14tries to let the combination go
00:27:28so
00:27:35look for the right into the body there better be at last 20 seconds of round six
00:27:44maybe just beginning to get through on people towards the end of the round there
00:27:48listen for that
00:27:51nice body shot from better be
00:27:55pivolo comes firing back right at the end of the round
00:28:11so
00:28:14us open tennis winner in the house as well just sat behind
00:28:18george warren everybody in this place think he's hurt everybody george everybody stay with him and
00:28:24work work this guy a lot of boxing heading your way on the sky over the next few days tomorrow
00:28:339 a.m
00:28:52and then on saturday night adam azim up against ohara davis
00:28:55so we're at the halfway stage six rounds in how are we seeing this one is bival got his nose in
00:29:04front of the midway point um without scoring i might have him a few rounds up um but again
00:29:12determined to start to to plant some seeds to that body and he landed a flush shot there again
00:29:18and then i think that will pay off but for me i've got bival up by a few rounds
00:29:26well at home you've got it 4-2 in favor of bival i think that's a solid score i wouldn't have had it
00:29:35the way it is on that card but 4-2 bival i can see i can see 3-3 as well though because
00:29:41there's not been much in some of these i'd say that bival's round wins have maybe been a
00:29:48a bit bigger possibly think particularly about rounds one and four but this is a tight affair
00:29:55as we knew it would be and there's still such a long way to go and as you said so absorbing that
00:30:00the the concentration factor is so intense that both men will be feeling the pace even when there's
00:30:06nothing looks like nothing's happening it's just the pure intensity bival opening up here
00:30:12both body and head the combinations that's eye-catching stuff from bival when he unloads
00:30:15and puts shots together as well in close rounds they're the things you remember
00:30:21those types of flurries as you say can be really important
00:30:38good use of the jab there from bival
00:30:50oh
00:30:57good combination there from bival and it goes better be able to just take her back with stephen
00:31:01he's following that up now bival better be able to try and find back himself
00:31:12bival just skirting away to his right hand side i think he felt that he had better be able to run
00:31:17a little bit and then he sprang off the rope and these two beginning to mix it down 35 seconds
00:31:22remaining in round seven yeah bival moving with a lot more urgency here he felt what i think that
00:31:29threaded the screws up through the middle
00:31:36well this could be a key moment in the fight possibly better be a
00:31:39with those short ramrod like punches letting those hands go final 10 seconds of the round
00:31:45bival just needs to get through here he's not massively unsteady he doesn't look like he's
00:31:50about to unravel but he is very much defense first because he's felt some of these punches
00:31:58and into the second round of the fight that was maybe what better be and
00:32:03needed because that was very encouraging for him that was his biggest round of the fight
00:32:09that was probably the first common fight where he hurt bival it was a screw shot through the middle
00:32:13got through the gap in the clean shot you can see bival and then tied it up stop punching
00:32:31you might see it here
00:32:34yeah bival landing a sharp couple of counters there on low it's coming up it's coming up
00:32:38there is it yeah and then yeah he's like that one two and then the left
00:32:43group screw shot you see bival looking to hold there yeah
00:32:55that was a really good combination from bival that caused better be able to
00:32:59give some ground and typically the better be of the punches that did the damage there they didn't
00:33:05look like all that much you couldn't even really pick out what in particular it was but you could
00:33:09see the effect it had for the rest of the round so heading into round eight now
00:33:22just dips his knees better be up there and throws the right hand into the body
00:33:26you know both men's defenses are so good that they both of them have to work so hard just to
00:33:35find an opening to land a clean shot that's what we've got to try and vary it open down
00:33:40head and body fights combinations mixing it up you can't afford to call a lazy shot because you're
00:33:50going to get countered
00:33:58they're right on top of each other both standing
00:34:03within punching range really almost daring the other one to lead off first
00:34:21that's my funny shot from bival
00:34:26midway through the round just short with the right hand but he got those gloves
00:34:29back double quick there bival when he realized he wasn't going to make it
00:34:38better be up just stepping off to his right hand side to try and change the point of attack
00:34:50uh
00:35:02not much in this round currently
00:35:08of the two better be at maybe just dictating terms more
00:35:20oh
00:35:31quick as a flash just struck back with his own
00:35:51hands
00:36:08it's so interesting this because we got four rounds remaining here and you can see from the
00:36:12way they're going about this they're still reluctant i wouldn't say to commit because
00:36:18they're right on top of each other they're committing yeah but at what point are they
00:36:23really going to risk it well well they both know there's no room for error the slightest mistake
00:36:28you're going to get you're going to get punished for it because that's the razor
00:36:34how razor sharp they are that's the level of these two guys are fighting that and i think
00:36:40one thing bival's done well was that when the turbo starts releasing his hands he makes sure
00:36:44he always responds just to let him know you could hurt me but i'm gonna hit you back that's exactly
00:36:51it josh he's has answered back hasn't he every time there's been an argument brewing and it
00:36:56looks like one might get on top then well it looks like to me of might get on top then he's
00:37:01answered back bival there's fabio wardley what a night he has had i said to my friend look we're
00:37:08all happy tonight a lot of men are happy but no one is happier in this arena than fabio wardley
00:37:14and of course the one at this front
00:37:18nice work to the body there for bival right hand into the rib cage of betha bm
00:37:27you know there's no room for error but we're getting to the final third of the
00:37:31fight when people get tired that's when they make mistakes
00:37:36who can capitalize on any mistakes better bival just again cuffing with that right hand
00:37:45yes
00:38:09you can hear it land and then looks to lead off with a left hook
00:38:12straight onto the jab afterwards
00:38:18defenses have been sound from these two not all that much has got through absolutely
00:38:22clean a lot has been half blocked by gloves or forearms
00:38:32he's staying patient here
00:38:33back at the end
00:38:46let's see up and down body head combinations duplex first two three four gets through
00:39:04oh
00:39:11this has been a good round for bival 40 seconds remaining
00:39:28and again bival is setting his feet off the back of a couple of heavy looking shots from betha bm
00:39:33he's landed four five six there on the move on his way out to the left hand side
00:39:38really good variation you know still boxing so much energy here at the end of the night bival
00:39:46up on his toes punching in combinations
00:39:54that's a decent right hand there for betha bm but that's a good round for bival and with three
00:39:58remaining i think betha bm has got some work to do here it's a close fight it's
00:40:05as we've been saying a fascinating fight to watch
00:40:10but of the two if i had to pick a corner i would rather be in at the minute i would rather be in
00:40:14that blue corner yeah i think bival's definitely ahead and he's the younger man the fresher man
00:40:21and he looks fresher he looked you know back then he up on his toes put flurries together body and
00:40:28head fixing it off what a round of great footwork by bival that round literally evaded a lot of
00:40:34punishment and dished it out in return
00:40:44but still the look of a determined man in detail here
00:40:47camera right him off absolutely not there's still nine minutes remaining here all it takes
00:40:55is a split second anyone who follows this sport knows that it can change in the blink of an eye
00:41:03a fractional error it doesn't even have to be an error and everything can be turned on his head
00:41:09here
00:41:14the undisputed ground and light heavyweight on the line here
00:41:20you see again that bival just one minute is on the ropes and then within a second he's back in
00:41:25the center of the ring never allowed better bf so far anyway to pin him for too long on the
00:41:33ropes and in the corners that was a decent right hand from better fear of it popped through the
00:41:37guard and you can see the head snap back there of bival he has to try and build on that now
00:41:43early stages of round 10 that was a nice body shot from bival
00:42:03he's found it very difficult better be able to trap bival
00:42:09on the ropes every now and again like he did there recording with his
00:42:13back a little bit square but he's always been able to just slip away
00:42:25it's almost coming together there as better bf maybe just shut down his
00:42:29own space slightly midway through round 10
00:42:34thank you
00:42:56just to play with the front foot
00:42:58he didn't really let the hands go and maybe have an opportunity to do so
00:43:14and again it's an eye-catching flurry he's done that really well in this fight he's taken the
00:43:19risk he's set his feet giving himself that solid base to punch off
00:43:24no punch we need to hold up good job committed to the combination better bf has just got to be busier
00:43:33i'm looking to try and up the tempo there but again bival manages to turn him off the ropes
00:43:37he's like a pile of soap just can't quite get him
00:43:53another good round but bival i mentioned earlier on the better bm is a patient man
00:44:05he's maybe being a bit too patient here yeah he needs to up it now i think he's definitely behind
00:44:10here better however you're seeing it i think you can only say that bival's ahead here there's only
00:44:15one man winning this now so better you need to need a big finish here it's something that we
00:44:21know that he's capable of so josh he carries that power late into fights
00:44:26listen andy there's six minutes left and those at home and us lot here six minutes is a very
00:44:30short time but when you start counting six minutes in that ring it's a very long time so
00:44:35yes the end is almost near for bival but with the puncher power this man has got you never know
00:44:4310 seconds right hand left hook combinations with bival working so well
00:44:48he needs to raise the tempo here he's got to win these final two rounds he absolutely has to
00:45:02he might need a little bit more than that we don't know how the judges are
00:45:06scoring this down at ringside of course
00:45:18oh
00:45:30he's produced such great variety all night long he's mixed things up beautifully the feet have
00:45:35been great the defenses have been tight he's kept his opponent occupied he's buried up the weight
00:45:42shots and as we said matt when he's needed to sink his toes in and really put some heat on
00:45:48his shots he's done it yeah brilliant performances let's say he's never become readable you know
00:45:54he's never been able basically he's never been able to pin him in anywhere in the ring normally
00:45:58better he's very good at maneuvering his opponent setting traps walking them where he wants to but
00:46:03he he's never been able to do that with bival because he's been so good at getting himself
00:46:06back into the center of the ring really good combination again from bival about 10-15 seconds
00:46:13ago Benabeev just trying to get after him here and this is what he has to do lean in muscle and rough
00:46:19him up somehow guys i thought about 20 seconds ago um the turn of London and overhead back
00:46:25not too sure how much concert he made but since then he's had bival on the back foot
00:46:31midway through the round he needs to try and build on that Benabeev
00:46:34and he is attempting to do just that
00:46:39stalking his man goes with the right hand to the body tilted into the uppercut and bival is in
00:46:44defensive mode here he needs something himself to try and keep Benabeev off him i mean he's
00:46:49up to the cost here bival i don't know how much of it's getting through cleanly but he hasn't
00:46:55really fired back for a while now Benabeev needs to keep this going
00:47:00as we said he needs a big final couple of rounds here the way we're seeing it
00:47:07is there a big swelling over the left eye now of bival
00:47:2230 seconds remaining in the round and Benabeev is looking to let both hands go bival
00:47:27trying to tuck up there is some damage around that left eye but he's working people over
00:47:31a little bit now in the fight he's in trouble here bival there's only a few seconds remaining
00:47:38in the round but Benabeev is finally getting to his man and this is going to set up an absolute
00:47:43grandstand finish in the 12th and final round of Joshua Poizzi said six minutes in that square
00:47:50circle can feel like forever and this bell cannot come soon enough for bival here at the end of the
00:47:5611th that is a better BF round and he's got to put his foot to the floor in the 12th
00:48:05Eddie Hearn looking a little bit nervous at ringside as well he might
00:48:21and both these fighters now just on their stools
00:48:24just trying to suck up the air and recover for one almighty final effort
00:48:31yeah some hard shots went in there body and head
00:48:35man you're right there's not much that's fully landing i mean there he's landing but
00:48:41the previous sequence you're right a lot were caught on the glove and just missing
00:48:44but i'll tell you what there's a point he landed an overhand right not sure how much contact he
00:48:49that's when that round turn yeah and even those shots that are partially
00:48:54blocked they're still getting through and they're still hurting well that's the danger
00:48:58when you face him 12th and final round a touch of gloves between the two and here we go
00:49:05Benabeev straight onto the front foot from the damaging looking right hand there
00:49:11you know i'm sure he's probably told the needs might need a knockout or certain knockdowns
00:49:15but if he can close this out better be a win these final two rounds it goes down to the judges
00:49:27we don't know how they're seeing it through 10 rounds we felt they've always in control in terms
00:49:33of the scores but things can change very very quickly better be looking to try and stay on top
00:49:39of him here
00:49:54and he knows it
00:50:05that's a good combination from
00:50:09better be a stalking menacingly
00:50:29it's fascinating to know how the judges had those first few rounds they were close
00:50:34you know i know the viewers had it 4-0 to b-ball i think we had it 2-2 so
00:50:40some of his rounds are so tight better be after trying to bring the heat to
00:50:47b-ball again here we're heading into the final minute of the fight b-ball just circling to his
00:50:52right to his left but if he ever's got him a little bit pinned here looks to try and let that
00:50:56man go b-ball is tucking up he's being cuffed around the top here just swaggering forward
00:51:05yeah b-ball working him overhead and body b-ball trying to fire back with something
00:51:11better be having the driver's seat here both men tired now b-ball just manages to get a hold of
00:51:18his man there and by himself for a few seconds rest by heading into the final 30 and this has
00:51:25been a better bs round again here and it looks like we are going to go to the scores trying to
00:51:31curl that right hand in around the back of the guard and b-ball is just holding on a little bit
00:51:37he is the one who will want the final bell more here out of the two it's been an engrossing fight
00:51:43this it really has all of the way through such a high level he's trying to pin that on the
00:51:50b-ball final few seconds
00:51:56there goes the bell b-ball celebrates better bm a little bit more modest as he heads back to his
00:52:03corner but that tells you more about the kind of person he is rather than giving you too much of
00:52:09an indication of whether he feels like he's done enough they are more muted in that better bm
00:52:15corner but this could well be very close
00:52:24as you say man it could come down to how those early rounds
00:52:28are scored well i've got it a draw but i gave after four rounds i had it two a piece
00:52:33of the viewers scorecard had it four nil b-ball so
00:52:37you know those those couple of rounds could be vital here in fact i'm sure they'll be vital
00:52:42at just the point in it according to you at home you've got one drawn round in there
00:52:47so one drawn six two b-ball and five two better bf who certainly won those final two
00:52:54they are confident in that b-ball corner i can understand why it was a very very good performance
00:53:03it was a very very good performance
00:53:09the way that he managed to use his feet the way that he managed to soak up the power the way that
00:53:14he managed not to get caught all that much the way he was prepared to gamble at times
00:53:22hold his feet and really let his own hands go you would have him in the box seat here
00:53:28when it comes to this decision but this is this is a strange old sport at times
00:53:49it was a fabulous fight to watch it didn't quite ignite in the way that we thought it might but
00:53:55then again that wasn't any great surprise because as you were both saying all of the way through the
00:54:00concentration levels had to be so high any kind of reckless error could be punished absolutely
00:54:07ruthlessly and they both knew it both are too good for it to become a barn burner because there
00:54:12there was no room for error error but their defenses were so good that neither guy was
00:54:18couldn't really open up couldn't get too reckless because they knew they'd get punished
00:54:22so it was so it was such high level stuff
00:54:26that it never it was never going to catch fire and become like an all-out
00:54:29war of attrition it was too you know what i mean it was too quality exactly exactly
00:54:43and that was the scene at the final battle and that can sometimes be quite challenging
00:54:48the pivotal corner is confident i'd make them right to be confident
00:54:54i'm just sounding that mode of caution yeah the body language of the two corners
00:54:59pivots corner seemed happier for sure
00:55:18as a draw Glenn Feldman scores it 115 to 113. Pavel Karabini scores at 116 to 112
00:55:30to the winner by majority decision and now the unified undisputed world champion
00:55:39Artur Betefeyev
00:55:49Artur Betefeyev gets it and he is now the undisputed light heavyweight champion of the world
00:55:56well that is a surprise to me on the draw cards Manuel Oliver Palomo Spain had it a draw
00:56:02Glenn Feldman had it 7-5 Betefeyev, Pavel Karabini 8-4 Betefeyev, Bibol looks absolutely
00:56:12devastated and i can understand it we were saying at the end that it was a close fight there were
00:56:17plenty of close rounds in there the draw i can see the two cards in favor of Betefeyev particularly
00:56:24the 8-4 Betefeyev i don't really see that i don't want to take anything away from him here because
00:56:31that was a fantastic fight and he has been a judge for winner but Dimitri Bibol will 100%
00:56:38be demanding that this gets run back look i think you see you're sitting next to me you see i had it
00:56:42114-114 to draw but when i heard the 116-112 i thought Bibol's got it yeah because you know
00:56:48what i mean i thought i didn't see Betefeyev possibly but look some of the rounds were very
00:56:53close like i said i had it a draw but i felt that when i heard the 116-112 i thought that Bibol had
00:57:00it i couldn't see how Betefeyev could have got in that wide well um i'll be honest with you i
00:57:08the same as you Matt when i heard the last four card i said you know what they've given it to
00:57:13in my opinion the right man um there were some there were some close rounds many many close
00:57:18rounds but personally i had Bibol winning that fight well we'll hear i think what the pair of
00:57:25them will have to say afterwards Chris Mannix is is up in the ring trying to get a word with
00:57:30congratulations you had a whole lot of hardware there now because you're the undisputed
00:57:35light heavyweight champion how does that feel i feel not bad i did not good today
00:57:45i want more good box today but more quality you know i don't know why but i didn't like this fight
00:57:52but i'll be better one day how tough was this fight it's not tough uh it's like a little bit
00:58:00uncomfortable
00:58:08was this a tough fight
00:58:12was this a tough fight of course it's this uh tough fight because
00:58:16Dmitry too he's a world champion too like you know he has good skills maybe better than me but
00:58:24today Allah chose me first three rounds it looked like Bibol was winning those early rounds what
00:58:35adjustments did you make in this fight adjustments what changes did you make during the fight you
00:58:43know during the fight we always try to change something but you know i maybe i want to punch him
00:58:51maybe that's why i not deliver more punches i don't know did you feel like you were slowing
00:58:57him down with your power as the fight went on no because because i'm not delivering him no one punch
00:59:06did you feel like when the belt when the final bell rang did you think you did enough to win
00:59:10the fight yes but it's for me not not not comfortable because usually i'm not waiting
00:59:18for belt it's today but today i even like lucky too your corner i think it was before the 10th
00:59:27round said to you you need to knock him out were you surprised to hear that but they always say that
00:59:35did that make you any more aggressive going into those final two rounds yes i'm more focused but
00:59:42not aggressively like more focused first time going the distance how does it feel to go the
00:59:47full 12 it's new my it's my experience i'm happy that for that i'm you know i'm very simple boxer
00:59:56like me like boxers in the world like me i think more than thousand even muhammad ali
01:00:03have fights long distance all distance i'm not bad boxer even it's not about me you know
01:00:10you had knee surgery about five months ago how did you feel physically in the ring
01:00:15it's make react too for my preparation because we need something modified you know change
01:00:24you are the undisputed champion but this was a fantastic fight that i think a lot of people
01:00:29would love to see again would you be interested in a rematch for this fight
01:00:34if his excellency what we were gonna do can i say something thank you very much for saudi arabia
01:00:44see area season
01:00:51congratulations arthur thank you very much i'm going to move over and grab dimitri biebel
01:01:00dimitri did you think you did enough to win the fight first of all i want to say thank you
01:01:08for this chance thank you to react season to saudi arabia and his excellency i got this chance
01:01:16i am a warrior i have to do everything perfect and i don't have any explanation
01:01:25because it could look like excuses i just congratulations to arthur and his team
01:01:31he deserved no problem i i just have time to to make another decision for my future that's it
01:01:40how surprised were that were you that you didn't get the decision
01:01:45sorry were you surprised that you didn't get the decision
01:01:51you know i i don't know i was just i did my job i felt that i could make better i always could
01:01:59make better i it's just just some opinion of judges congratulations arthur and i i couldn't
01:02:08see i didn't see this fight i i just he won what what i could say did you feel his power at any
01:02:14point during the fight yeah of course he he's powerful very powerful and he you see i have a
01:02:20bruise from my from my from my hand he always beat it and it was so hard even he reached my
01:02:30my eye do you feel like how you performed deserves a rematch would you like to do it again
01:02:37with arthur why not of course if i have this chance yes this is my dream to be undisputed
01:02:45appreciate the effort dimitri thank you
01:02:52well that was absolute class from the pair of them it really was better be a very gracious
01:02:58in victory bivol extremely gracious in defeat and it was an engrossing spectacle as we've
01:03:04been saying all the way through and when you look at those cards what we know
01:03:08is that the way that better be have finished strongly in the 11th and 12th two rounds of
01:03:13these certainly won that is what got him over the line because that drawn card he would have been
01:03:18six four down after 10 rounds he turned that into a draw the seven five it would have been five five
01:03:24through 10 rounds and winning those final two turned that one in his favor and pablo cardini
01:03:30had him ahead heading into those final two come what may so when it comes to the scores we have
01:03:36our opinions that's what we're here for it was a fantastic fight to watch and that reaction there
01:03:42josh is a fighter you're a gracious man i would say i love that from bivol no excuses no moaning
01:03:50no complaining i did my job if i get the opportunity to do it again of course i would love to look i
01:03:57respect that a lot from him you could have like he said he didn't want to give any excuses but again
01:04:02in my opinion he won and if you felt you had won then by all means make make make your um
01:04:10make your feelings known and um again he could have done that but listen big respect to him he
01:04:15said look i didn't get the decision maybe i lost and he you know he's left the ring fair play to
01:04:21him man um like i said after the scorecards when they read the last one i said yeah they've given
01:04:26it to bivol and i wouldn't have complained not necessarily complaining about viterbo
01:04:32viterbo winning it because i'm not a judge but look he's got the win and um he's undisputed
01:04:38credit to him um he did some wonderful work in in the later rounds which looked like is what
01:04:43influenced um the judge that gave it to him by a wider margin so um we have to commend him for
01:04:48that because we did see it we did see it and it's from that moment i said he seemed to have landed
01:04:53an overhand right hand and i don't know how much um contact it made but it was very you know
01:05:00influential well you could see that the punches were having an effect even the ones that were
01:05:04partially blocked yeah even the ones that were blocked it was scoffing you see the eye damage
01:05:08that that that probably from shots he blocked on the clothes of the inside of the clothes of scoffed
01:05:13him like you said it was the perfect word and i picked up on a few times absorbing
01:05:19really really absorbing sitting here i feel knackered sitting here watching it
01:05:25in terms of whether we'll see it again what are your feelings on that mine are that we will because
01:05:31i think to kill our shape will have sat ringside and watched that and thoroughly enjoyed it
01:05:35i'll be really grateful for these two really fine athletes
01:05:41and just really class acts and he will want to put that on again and it is the fight deserves a
01:05:46rematch b-ball deserves a rematch and the fight deserves a boxing the world of boxing deserves
01:05:51a rematch very very close fight
01:05:54well down at ringside i think there's not too much else to say and back to you oh we better
