00:00The Johor Fire and Rescue Department has confirmed that the investigation into the deadly fire

00:07at the SILC Industrial Park in Iskandar Putri, which claimed the lives of two foreign workers,

00:13is ongoing.

00:15Department Director Siti Rohani Nadir said the forensic unit is currently working to

00:20determine the cause of the fire, which destroyed four warehouses on Thursday.

00:25The investigation will focus on identifying the source of the blaze and assessing the

00:30extent of the damage.

00:32Earlier, police confirmed that two Bangladeshi men, aged in their 30s and 40s, succumbed

00:37to severe burn injuries as a result of the fire.

00:41Iskandar Putri OCPD Assistant Commissioner M. Kumarasan stated that the first victim

00:46passed away at around 10pm on Friday, while the second died at approximately 2.15pm on

00:52Saturday.

00:53A third victim remains hospitalized and is undergoing treatment.

00:58Post-mortem examinations revealed that both men died from severe burn injuries.
